I believed you, but I had to read it for myself. Some pockets are surely well padded at our expense over this one. It's positively terrifying. They don't even have to label the carp. OMG. Add on the job losses here and it is just spectacularly stupid.

Thanks everyone. I found a forum for bunny owners and I've been doing a lot of reading over there since we got back. A lot of positive stuff over there, not getting excited yet though.

Wine festival tomorrow, though. We have a reservation for a wine tasting/winemaking tour - think it will be fun. There's also a craft fair, and I LOVE those things.
I don't want Chinese chicken, either. Stupid USDA....

We citizens should be prepared to feed ourselves.I'm not sure any kind of food is safe...Between the chemicals and the chinese this may be a time to start feeding ourselves...
Bubbie was given antibiotics, probiotics and antiparasitic. Hopefully he will be 100% very soon.
Vet said it could be a couple things and wants to treat him for all of them. He said that as long as Peanut keeps eating and the medicine kicks in this should be over in a month, maybe less. I'm still freaking out, of course. He does have some drainage in his right ear so it is very likely this is a middle ear infection, which can and will mess with your balance. Bunny is going to get spoiled with bananas and raisins until he feels better.
I've been up for 24 hours, I think it's time for this momma to take a nap.

Only liked it because I am in complete agreement. Sonny used to think I was nuts, buying meat from the local guy, grain/flour from the mill, raising chickens. He called this morning, they need chicken....

Bamrz, search around your area. We found a meat market not that far away that actually is a old fashioned butcher shop. Livestock comes in on Tuesdays, it's all locally grown, farm raised meat. It costs more than the grrrrocery store stuff, but it tastes so much better. And didn't come from a feed lot.
