K..I hate to be bearer of bad news but...I was sitting at my computer trusty Provari's and MVP's at my side when I noticed a hissing spitting sound.The router for the cable was under the table where the mods sat so I'm thinkin what is up with the router? So I picked it up..Nada nothing..I heard the hiss again and decided to check out my mods...It was an MVP and the tank and carto in the tank was burning hot..I unscrewed it immediately and put the MVP in a pan with a lid in my sink...The lights were going bonkers and I watched it till all the lights went out.It's still in the pot in my sink.I have 6 MVP's one was bad from the get go and I don't use it...This is the 2nd...Be cautious with them.I will be taking the tanks off all of them when I go to bed at night or leave the house...I don't think I trust them anymore. It's a shame because I do like them...Just a heads up to be careful....

Yikes!!!,!!! I'll keep a watch on mine.

Mr. V's mom passed this morning. Her suffering has ended thankfully. Family chaos has begun. I'm not sure if we're needing to go over there or not, I'll find out sometime today.

Was posting this earlier but my phone did a what ever. Not all ego battery chargers are the same they may look the same but. Some put out more than others I've ruined a few egos like that. Was it the charger that came with the kit? Anyway you look at it the vendor should offer a replacement.

Dan, I'm not familiar with the DVOM. What is it? Maybe one of us can help you out.

DVOM is a Digital Volt Ohm Meter, it basically does the same job as the Provari or Vamo. Electricians use them to measure everything electrical .. I appreciate all the replies... I was just very disappointed yesterday. I am going to bring it back to see if they will replace it...

Pretty much Chilin today 1 load of laundry, ordered a battery for my phone and almost fell off my chair when I seen the price of the alternator for the Tang. Decided to bake a ham been wanting bean soup.
