If you remove the rubber gasket from the head, there is a small... what looks like fiberglass mesh that the wick passes through. I dont know how else to describe it..

Never had a problem with it.

I only take it off when I clean & dry burn it. Then I put it back on.

Altsmoke has them and you can choose your heads instead of getting the three different ones. They did have them anyway, I bought a couple the other day. They are a listed Vision supplier so you know yer getting the real deal.

Thursday morning!!! That means most of us only have to endure one more day of work before the weekend kicks off. Not that I have any big plans for the weekend... But its not at work, and thats really whats important.

87 inside this morning. 72 outside. Gonna be hot today and tomorrow too. Highs are going to hit around 90 both days. But next week.... Ohhhhh next week.... Sunday thru Wed, the temps arent suppossed to hit 80. Little to no chance of rain starting Sunday.... Its going to be near perfection. Maybe I'll actually be able to get some work done on the boat. Even though I really just feel like dragging it to a marine repair shop.

This country is awesome....

So, the big news on the town here is that Obama was going to make his speech for the DNC this evening. Normally, I would just ignore all of this, but there has been a change in venue that has many MANY people upset. The speech was going to be given at Bank of America Stadium, aka Panthers Stadium. But due to "weather" concerns, he will be giving the speech from Time Warner Cable Arena, aka Bobcats Arena. What makes this such a big deal, is that the Arena holds about 60k less people than the stadium. There were people waiting in line for several hours, a few of them for a couple of days, to get tickets to this. But, now that its moved to a location thats MUCH smaller, there is only enough room for the delegates and the media. Thats right, NO ONE else will be able to go see our nation's president speak because of the chance of rain.
