Bam's the bike expert maybe she could give advice as to which one might be the best for you.I'd rather have a bike than a boat. You will use it more.Just in time for summer...or whatever it is at the moment...

I know nothing about sport bikes. :( You have to sit kinda hunched over, which wouldn't appeal to me or my back. I know a little more about cruisers.

It's sweltering here.It was 104 when I came out of puppy class according to my car thingy. Just awful...
Good luck Drott!

Rainy and cold here, but headed for high 80s to low 90s for the rest of the week and into the weekend. I think I'd rather it be cold and rainy.

How cool! She must love the outdoors.

Hiding indoors today. Busy mixing. And trying to convince Mr. V that we need new windows in the kitchen of hut 1. And air conditioning would be nice. For those 2 or 3 weeks of summer that we get.

You don't have AC? Do you at least have a window unit? We have both a window unit and central air. It gets sweltering here.

It's about 83 here right now, I'm inside with the fans and air on and I'm sweating. No one else is hot but me.

Hut 2 has central air. It feels like a luxury working over here. Hut 1 has two window air conditioners. One goes in the dining room, one in the living room. We turn on the bedroom ceiling fan, or fight for the couch. I'd love central air, but we don't have ductwork. No furnace = no ducts.

We don't have central air either. When we built the house I said no central air (I hate over air conditioned houses/stores/etc..) and since we were moving to Maine and both of us had this idea that it was gorgeous in the mid to upper 70s all summer long, hubby didn't argue. The weekend we moved in it was 104 degrees.

When we looked at this house I told Mr. V that I was fine without central air, really, how hot can it really get under all these trees? Um, super muggy. And hot.

I don't mind spiders either but I hate ticks and cockroaches. Ewwwwe...I wouldn't like a Copperhead in my kitchen either...
OMG, Tiff!

I can handle anything, spiders, snakes, you name it... Except for palmetto bugs.

I hate those giant flying demon cockroaches. Hate them. Especially when they're on the ceiling or high on a wall and you go to swat at them and they fly towards you... Ugh! If I see one I scream like a little girl for my husband or one of the kids to kill it.

Copperhead, no problem. Giant python, no problem. Brown recluse, no problem. Black widow, no problem. But an effing cockroach?... END OF THE WORLD!

I wish I lived somewhere where I didn't need air conditioning.

I'm not about to suffer through summer in Florida without central air. MAYBE if I lived near the coast. We're too far inland for the nice breezes so all we get for summer is hot and humid.

Edit: But our winters make up for it. ;)
