I'm still playing Super Mario Brothers....I still can't figure out how to ride Yoshi...

I stick to Fallout. If I die, I don't have to start all the way over as long as I remember to save before I fight the bad guys. But I find it very addictive, so I haven't played in a long time.

Well I survived another wicked hot day without A/C at work. The electric company got the power lines sorted out, and the A/C guy came yesterday, he said it needs a new compressor. It's only 3 years old, so not sure if they have to play by the warranty rules, or if we can get it replaced quicker. Yucko.

I'm reading the book to the present that I got Mr. V. He's pretty happy, it's an ice cream maker. Mint Chocolate Chip is the first one he's going to try to make. Should be fun for both of us, him making it, and me watching.

So sorry Sallie.I hope he improves over the weekend.

Very lethargic, dehydrated, a bit wobbly when he's on his feet, acting very depressed (head down, no tail wagging, etc...) with a very high fever. So after as many tests as the vet could perform in the office, he might have one particular type of cancer, a septic infection, or something else I can't remember at the moment. As long as we don't have to rush him to an emergency vet tomorrow, he goes back to the regular vet on Monday to be evaluated again and if he's not any better we go through another battery of tests that need to be sent out to a lab. Ugh.

I had no clue there were a few zillion recipes out there. I just found blueberry/maple syrup. It's going to be a tasty summer at the hut.

That reminds me that I am going to make ice cream this weekend. I hadn't thought of it until you reminded me.

Pro tip: Go into your settings and change your posts per page to 40. It makes it a lot easier to catch up!

Will it do frozen yogurt too? I found a nifty little thing at the thrift store, it's a cup you put in the freezer (has some sort of gel in it I think) and it has this little paddle thingy to stir it. You put in one 8 oz container of yogurt, let it sit for a minute or two, then stir until it gets frozen. But it's too small to really add your own fruit or things to it.
