Did everyone get their MVP while I was gone?

I did today! Woohoo!

FV, I found some fantastic mats that I bought for the workstations at the DC. We had some and I tried this one, evefyone started begging me to replace theirs with the new kind. I'll look it up at work and send you the info - please don't let me forget?

Looks great! I need to order wraps for mine.

Mine too at some point.

K....I'd keep the floor concrete..They are so easy to keep clean...definatly clear out that kitchen...The bathroom is not awful. You could replace the sink with your Koi sink unless you want to make it larger. The way I see it is I wouldn't invest heavily into anything for the time being.I'd build what was necessary and pertinent to my business and clean the rest up and go with it.

Better advice you will never find, FV. Why is it every good thought I have has already been had by another Posse member? ;)

Hey V, Thanks for posting the photos of the new hut. I'm not seeing creepy, looks like a blank slate that you can really do what you want.

This was exactly what I was thinking. See my post above!

THAT is brilliant. Why didn't I think of that?

Thanks WB. He has worn me out today. He goes full force for an hour and then naps for 5 minutes. Then starts all over again. He's a happy boy though and I think he might actually like me.

See below

How could he not love you. Silly Tiff.

Yet again, what I was going to say. Silly Tiff.

*whew* I think I caught up. I am having a crisis at the Happiest Place. I am starting to wonder after 6 years if I'm actually making a difference. I gotta settle that question. If I'm not making a real difference I need to move on. It's been the two weeks from Hell, and I'm supposed to be able to make that not the case.

Howdy folks. Figured I would pop in before bed.

Mrs E brought Mel and CJ up to work to have lunch with me. Then they hung out for the rest of the afternoon while I worked. Then the manager called and said we could leave early. I celebrated by driving straight to the DMV. I am now in possesion of a permit with an "M" on it. I missed a 100% by one question, and it was a BS question. The SCDMV motorcycle booklet stated one thing, the test answer was another. But, I still passed. When I got home, Mrs E had gone and picked up our niece and planned on take them all to a baseball game. But once we started on the way, we saw some nasty storm clouds on the horizon. We changed plans and wound up at a motorcycle apparel store. I picked up a Bilt riding jacket, $180 but on sale for $100. Mesh with removable armor and zipout liner. And an $80 pair of gloves for $20. My brother said that if the boots he has fit me, I could have them. Then he told me they were an $800 set of boots. He said his jacket was $800, the boots were $800, and the gloves were $200. Holy CRAP dude, thats nearly the cost of my BIKE. But, I wont turn down the free pair of $800 boots if they fit! So, now that all of that is done, everything that I had planned for tomorrow morning is taken care of. Next step is the county treasurers office on Monday to pay the taxes on the bike, then back to the DMV to get my title and plates. Then I can finally, legally ride. Two more days. Just two...more....days.

Oh, so the other part of the change in plans... since we didnt go to the ball game, we took the kids to the movies. If you dont mind watching animated movies, watch EPIC. It was a surprisingly good movie. We watched it in 2D, but could tell it would be pretty awesome in 3D.

Well... thats all the news Ive got. Im off to bed.

Ummmm?? Livermush...sounds divine...kinda like cat eyeballs ...blech..blech...blech...
Mrs E said the same thing. Until she tried it. She loves it. But has told me to never tell her whats in it. :D

Sounds a bit like scrapple. Did we have this conversation before??
Yes. Yes we have.

Dude, congrats on the permit! If you can get teh ridiculously expensive boots for free or cheap and they fit, do it! More important that they fit. You can always spend stupid money on gear...but it doesn't make you ride better or make the ride feel better. My current riding jacket is tops but I waited until I found an insanely good deal on it before I bought it.

Anyone using a pro tank? If so, is it possible to clean the head on it and how?

I unscrew the bottom and then unscrew the head and soak it it vodka. Once its dry I take that rubber gasket off and pry the stem thing off, take out the extra wicks and burn the crap off the coil.

Safety gear, no matter what its for, is almost always a case of you get what you pay for. Especially when you have filet mignon tastes on a bologna budget. But I think Ive done ok with balancing safety, quality, and budget. Not that I plan to test its durability, but its still a bit of piece of mind.

Ok, Im really going to bed now.

True with SRL's, not always with riding gear. Too much style infused with the safety features. For less than $200 you can get top-notch jackets, etc. that will protect you well in a get-off.
