Seen one at best buy 59-60 makes the 2 pounder free shipping. We just don't eat enough bread to justify getting one. And I like the hand made its coarser. Haven't found grams recipe book yet. Grrr. But I do remember she used potato water instead of milk or water and she used real lard.
Mrs Punkin wants to try making bread by hand without a machine to start out. She wants to do it the "old fashion" way. I'm up for pretty much anything one time. What the heck, why not before we buy something that could just set there unused cluttering her counter top. I did point out a horse and buggy that went pass the front door and just nonchalantly mentioned, "that was the 'old fashion' way they use to drive around years ago too!" I better behave myself or I ain't getting any homemade bread by hand or a machine!

Do y'all remember me saying that most of my girls from last season tried out and made their school's team? Well, they were distributed to 2 different schools in the same district. Both of those teams were going to play against each other tonight. I was planning on going to watch. But, Mother Nature's bipolar effect has the game postponed until tomorrow.... when I have a practice to run. Im hoping there will be another match up so I can watch my girls play.

But, Im going to go home now. Maybe I can get lucky and actually find the paddle for the bread maker.

$60? The one I looked at was closer to $250! Oh my, potato water and lard. Yummm, now I'm hungry for PA Dutch potato chips.... :)

You will not find it until you buy another one. At least that's how it always works for me.

A) Convince Morgan she wants chickens. Dad will be forced to build coop.

Or

B) take Morgan to get chicks while he's at work. Dad will be forced to build coop.

That didn't work out so well when I brought the pot bellied pig home once. I was promptly told to take it back or it would be served for dinner.

Mr. V said that leaves the door open for Mr. Tiff to pick up a chick that he sees on the side of the road too. All being fair.

 I don't think he wants any of the chicks walking the side of the road around here.

No animals allowed in the mustang. Ever.

Same here except it's my Charger no animals are allowed in unless well crated in something that won't mess up my leather seats.
