Mornin' all. Happy Friday.
I didnt get home until about 11:30 last night. After I unloaded the truck and emptied coolers, it was about 12:30 by the time I got to bed. Then couldnt sleep because Mrs E was hot and complaining that I was radiating too much body heat even with the ceiling fan on and a fan on the nightstand blowing full force. I finally fell asleep sometime after 1:30. And somehow, I managed to get out of bed at 5:00 without hitting the snooze button. I made it to work on time, but Im not sure how, and already on my second cup of coffee. It's the first coffee I've had all week. And I'm probably going to have to down one more after lunch. I am TIRED.
Tonight will be another night at the track. Im hoping to be home before midnight again, but Im not really holding my breath. I will say it was an interesting night last night. We had
three calls that stick out in my head. One, there was a stripper handing out flyers to a local "gentleman's club" on the property. Naturally, by the time someone was dispatched, she was gone. Unfortunately, I didnt get there quick enough.

The second call made me shake my head. It was about 7pm, and someone called dispatch to request EMS to a ba
throom. Turns out some lady was passed out in a bathroom stall. Yep. You can't hide redneck! The third call made me literally laugh out loud. I dont know details, but the call came over the radio that someone was trying to load an engine into his personal vehicle. AN ENGINE. AN ENTIRE ENGINE!!! We see people walking around with old wheels or tire, lug nuts, fenders, hoods, and all kinds of parts that come off the car during a wreck. Most of the time, the teams dont really care. But apparently, someone thought that taking a $80,000 engine that weighs over 600 lbs would go unnoticed. WHAT IN THEEEEE HAIL are people thinking?!?!? I still thought it was funny.
I'll be greeting tomorrow morning at a softball field with Kat. Mrs E will be dropping off the two little ones with her parents, then going to work, so I wont have anything to worry about except the games. It should be a nice change of pace. I plan on watching at least two games, depending on the times, then heading back to the race track. I just really hope that the rain that the weather guessers are calling for holds off all weekend.
Finally home. We just got back from hut hunting. *shudders* called the realtor, yes we are insane.
Agreed.
It might be. She hasn't called me back yet, and is probably laughing too hard. The kitchen is 5x8, they had the fridge and stove around the corner.
