Happy Saturday everyone. First pre-season hockey game tonight - YAY! I get 20 free tickets, so I ordered a block of 10 (I can only use them in 10's) and posted a notice to my employees to see me if they want to go that day. It's a Sunday day game, so most everyone is off because I have minimal staffing on Sunday during first shift.

I've been dusting and stuff, the hut looked horrid. Sonny is on his way up to get his not so new '88 Stinkin Lincoln. I'm actually going to miss seeing the Titanic in the garage.

It is. It's a Town Car, and freaking huge. Mr. V is really happy about all the garage space he's gaining. I'm just glad it's going to a family member. Grandpa gave it to me when he felt he shouldn't really be driving anymore. He wanted it to stick around to help everyone out. So I've been loaning it out to family when they need it for the past 15 years. It still has less than 100K on it. The guys are out in the garage working on it right now.

Got some potatoes cooking to make gnocchi. Not sure what's going with it, but I'm in the mood for some heavy weight pasta!

I'm having a spinach, feta and tuna quesadilla. There's left over baked chicken in the fridge along with lunch meat for everyone else. I offered to fix them a quesadilla but they declined.

BLT's are gone and the guys are back in the garage. I'll yell goodnight when I go to bed. And they'll still be messing with something out there. It's time to get snow machines running.

I took my car for a leisurely drive this afternoon.

They've had maintenance working on our snowblower at work for the past couple weeks. Have I ever told y'all how much I dislike winter??

I feel for all of us that get the cold icky stuff. On the upside, we don't have bugs the size of cars, so I'll take the cold.

bonfire time, it's getting quite chilly tonight. Sonny said "We have Southern Comfort, Coke, gas and matches. What could possibly go wrong?"

I have coffee, and a garden hose. kids.

Now a tuna and cheddar melt minus the spinach would have been good. Feta and spinach go good together. But under no circumstances do spinach, feta and tuna make a good match.
