Good morning all!

What a crazy week. Kids had an absolutely wonderful Christmas. CJ was nearly in tears when he got this stupid little stuffed Kung Fu Panda. Mommy and Daddy said no way he would get it. Yep. Santa brought it. Melanie stated "THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!" when she got this stupid little doll that poops a charm for a charm bracelet. Yep, we said no to that one too. Santa brought it. I was really starting to dislike that guy. That is, until I opened up my new coffee maker that does k-cups and regular grounds. It doesnt make kcup coffee as good as a Keurig, but its better than my previous methods. My MIL gave me some "wild game meat sticks". Kinda like a Slim Jim, but made with Elk, Bison, and Venison. They are REALLY tasty. Santa brought Charli a new bed. We put it in our room where she normally sleeps, and surprisingly, she's slept on it all night every night since. MIL also brought her a large bone. While it was wrapped up, judging from the weight, I thought it was a tight wrapped rawhide.... I was wrong. It was a dinosaur femur. Maybe it was from a a cow, but the thing was massive. We didnt see Charli all weekend until bed time. Thursday night was too much food, too much family, and too much adult beverages... I didnt take into consideration that I had to be at work the next morning. I paid dearly for that oversight.

Saturday was a great day. I slept in for a bit, took trash to the dump, drove on up to my mom's, hijacked my Camaro, drove down to the gun range and wasted an hour and a half and 200 rounds of ammo (I told Mrs E I only shot 150... she gets mad if I "waste too much money at the range"), took the Camaro back to mom's, then went to chat with my Nana for about an hour. Got home, Mrs E went to work, and I spent a few hours cleaning my pistol and my .22 rifle. I need to get some aerosol cleaner for my rifle. Even after wiping and scrubbing the bolt and receiver down, it still feels gritty. I guess it sat in my ex-step-dad's safe for too long and collected too much dust. Its better now, but still nasty.

Yesterday was all football, all day. Carolina became the first team in the NFC South to win division titles back to back. We're officially the best team in the worst division in the league. If they play the way they have for the last few weeks, we have a really good shot of beating Arizona this weekend. If they win that, its off to Seattle where our odds are not so good, but I hope they can at least make a decent game out of it.

Today is gonna be another slow-ish day. Hopefully, it'll be a slow-ish week.

Filling out the application. It would be easier to fill one out for adopting a kid. My chances are slim, but maybe I'll get lucky. She's deaf, she's a pit, she's at least one year old, so my chances might be a bit higher than zero.

I want her. Can I have her?

Packers won too. Now I'm going.
What'd you think of Homsdfjhasdfjkh Suh stepping all over your quarterback?? The NFL better fine that dude. Im far from a Packers fan, but that was just dirty. Especially after he had just come back in after re-injuring his leg.

Good Morning posse!!!!!

James, I'm so happy that you had a great Christmas!

I was up on my feet screaming over Suh and his third "stomp on someone" of the season. He needs to get fined/benched/booted. There is no place for that kind of behavior. You can't tell me that he didn't know he was stepping on someones ankle, and he lifted the other foot to put all of his weight on it. Creep.

Watching for my denial email about Millie. James, you would have a better chance of getting her. She's freaking adorable.

If I had a bigger house I'd have another big dog. Our next big dog will probably be an English mastiff or something along those lines.

Morgan and I went to hobby lobby. I got some cool fabric . I've decided my first embroidery project will be to monogram the bathroom hand towels hanging in the rack. I'm still in shock over hubby surprising me with the machine. I've got it all set up and waiting on my Amazon order to arrive tomorrow so I can start playing with it. Hubby scored major points on this one. :)

Ive had big dogs before. But St Bernards and Mastiffs are HUGE dogs. Then again, my definitions for dog sizes dont match up to society. 50-75 pounds are "normal" dogs. 75-125 are large breeds. 125+ are huge.

I think Im going to fill out my log sheet and go home. I think I need either a shot of nyquil or a shot of Maple Jack. Maybe both.

Y'all have a good evening!

Frozen pizza for dinner, my mouth is numb.

We had an Old English Mastiff. Tommy weighed in at 225# when he went for his hip x-rays. When I picked him up he plastered me to the wall, he leaned down to put his chin on the top of my head. The vet tech took a pic before helping me.

I love when stuff like that happens.

Good morning, too cute!!!! Congrats!
