Yeah. There's a smoke/vape shop here in town and they had 3 Itastes 134 for $200.00 each and all kinds of juices with magic marker for labels...I
Well THAT trip to the local shop was a waste of time. They have a massive selection of juices, but I have no desire to even try them. They had a large selection of mods, tanks, and batteries. I was pleased to see that. But there were two things that really convinced me to never step foot in there again... One, as soon as I walked into the door, the girl behind the counter said "What do you want?" Really??? I figured you might want me to make a selection so I could give you my money for your products. Already irritated, I asked if they had ProTank coils, 2.5ohm. While she was looking for them, I asked how much they charge per five pack, which leads me to reason number two I will never go back. She had to ask the owner for the price. He said FIFTEEN DOLLARS. For a FIVE pack.... ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDING ME?!?!? Ive bought them online for about $5 per pack. $6 after shipping. And youre charging more than DOUBLE?!?!?

I hate people.

Baby steps, my friend. Baby steps.

Nah...Nobody will remind you that if you only had a chicken or two you wouldn't be short on eggs..Right guys? No..No one would say that..
It's 48 here. Overcast, but still 48. More ice and snow will melt.

I was planning on making dog treats tomorrow because I still had some surplus from last week, but then I realized that the bottom of the last jar was getting moldy. Probably because I left them a little soft this time because of Grimm's tooth extraction this week. So I had to bake up a quick batch to get us through the day and I'll make the rest tomorrow. I would have made the whole batch today, but I didn't have enough eggs. Don't anybody say it!

THey definitely have higher overhead and probably have lower volume than most of the online sellers. That's a deadly combination. I think it would be smart for abrick and mortar store to do online sales as well and try to leverage the additional volume to control walk-in prices. AT those prices, they won't sell a lot, I don't think.

Sallie. :lol::lol: theirs a cure.

I thought she said not to say it!

You're like every man's dream..You cook AND fish...

Amen. And Hallelujah. :D

OMG another cook/fisherman woman.....

Can I get another "amen"? :D

Ok, I have a problem. Weekend duty manager has a ton of time to work on projects and stuff, which is like gold. Usually I have a gazillion people buzzing around like mosquitoes interrupting my productive time. Today...I have time but no motivation!

I understand the huge overhead. It is part of running a B&M. But I do agree, most places are disgustingly over priced. I like to support the locals, but I generally do it on an emergency basis. Sometimes I will go in and walk out upset with myself for spending that much... like Mrs. Gs protank 2. I went in to pick up the FREE iclear 30s I won in a raffle... $70 later I'm walking out. They offered to fill them with juice... I tried them all and wow... for $1 a ml it was bad, all of them. I decided to wait till I got back home.
They did love the CC shirt though. :D
All that said, I wouldn't ever shop there if I didn't like the family that runs it.

$1/ml for juice is pretty um...wow. For bad juice, no less.

Life is good.

We have several big name B&M stores in the Charlotte area. But this was the first one in my town. They had a booth set up at the town's St Patty's day fest, and I stopped and talked to them. They seemed like they were fairly knowledgeable people. But their mods were over priced. I think they were charging like $75 for an MVP1. But, like you said, overhead jacks up the prices. But I still hoped that I could get some coils for less than the cost of what you can get on the internet plus shipping. Or at least CLOSE to it. I just paid $33 with shipping for five packs of five coils. It wouldve been $75 if I had made the same purchase with them. Un-freakin-believeable

Just dropping in real quick. About to watch a movie about a kid with Asperger's that does all these amazing things as a teenager so that I can feel like carp afterwards worrying about my kid. I'm in a fantastic mood. I'll check back in later.
Um.... Should I like that...?
