Okay, let's do the math :)

To make 1000ml of 25mg joose I need -

250ml 100mg VG - $30

two 500ml bottles 0mg VG - $18

assuming 15% flavoring, five ounces of various flavorings @ $5.50/oz = $27.50

Total: $75.50, or about 7.5 cents per ml.

Good figuring, Wizard. The part that really sucks, to me, is the cost of the freaking BOTTLES!

$.75 for the juice and $.40 to $55 cents for the BOTTLE!

But they can be reused many times over!

Very true, but they are expensive to begin with, and, if you share joose with someone else, then they are just plain gone and should be considered in the cost of your juice. Most of the joose I make is for other people, so I still have to pay for the container.

I also make joose for my v-verts. I just request that they return their empties. They gladly comply as they appreciate the prices.

Also true, but I'm trying to get complete strangers in my town off stinkies by giving them information AND a free bottle of juice once they get their equipment. I've never gotten a bottle back.
Bottom line, some of us DO have to consider the cost of containers too.
A little nitpicky of me, but some things ARE a part of my DIY.

Of course I could save more if I ordered in bulk. My current cost of making eliquid is $0.09 per ml i.e. $2.73 for 30 ml of 12mb eliquid using 15% flavor. Feel free to check the math.

VG wallgreens $4.00/180ml=.022/ml X 6= 0.13
+ VG .06 nicotine Wizard Labs $12.00/120=.100/ml X 19.5 = 1.95
+ Flavor Wizard Labs $1.60=.145 X 4.5 (at 15%) = 0.65
Total for 30 ml of 12mg eliquid $2.73

7% sales tax included; shipping & hardware excluded)

BTW, my 15mg 60PG/40VG nic/PG/VG base is $.026/ml, not counting flavoring.

I've been making some new tobacco's and there the BEST I've ever had, using real and freshly cured tobacco leaves from leaf only.com buying just the 1/4LB samples under the tobaccos on the left side bottom of the page under all the tobaccos it says samples. A 1/4 goes a long way guys. Take out the big leaves and spray them off using a spray bottle with cool water and set on a paper towel till there almost dry, crumble up into small buds and stuff your 50-60ml bottle 3/4 the way full. Then just pour in your Nic base at the % you like best at your MG. let this steep for a month, it will be the best dam tobacco you've ever had. The Canadian Virginia Flue cured is delicious, so is the Nicaraguan seco cigar, all of them are good. Once you get use to which one you like then you can also mix 2-3 of the tobaccos also making up a super tobacco mix. This is the realist and most natural tobacco juice I've ever vaped doing this. Remember a good 4 week steep is needed here, but dam is this good. I also have been using this as my base to mix other juices/Flavors it's just Super , give it a go :)

Its absolutely cheaper to make your own particularly if you follow the deals & steals and sales. For example VapingZone has a 15 percent off of all flavorings right now. Ecigexpress has the most flavorings in one shop and has frequent small promo codes. Buy things when they are on sale including the nicotine.

I vape 15 mg nic and that's what I do...

If you don't mind unflavored, like I do, then:
1. Nic base, $11.39 - 60mg Nicotine solution - 120ml
2. PG or VG, $9.49 - Propylene Glycol - 500ml, but I need only 360 ml.
3. S/H - $5

Everything from Wizard Labs.

For about $25 I am getting 480 ml of 15mg nic, in other words it's a $1.56 per 30 ml with 140 ml of PG/VG left.
