Brah, where i live in maui your lucky to get any name brand under $8 my friend has paid $10.25 for a pack of newports. Kool Milds my old brand got up to $8.79 when not on sale

Hey Brah, I go there every other year and I always bring my own for that very reason. Now I won't have to spend the months leading up to going, doing double MYO :) More luggage space too... And if I run out of juice I'll look you up! Is there anywhere on the island that sells ecig stuff? And are you seeing many out and around there? I don't recall seeing any sign of it in Feb. 09. But then I spent time in those little "leper colonies" they call 'designated smoking areas'.

On maui time in Ohio... :)

I ordered my analogs from an American Indian reservation in upstate New York. Carton of generics on last order was $22. I usually ordered 6 cartons at a time and paid an additional $16 for shipping/postage.

Credit card companies won't let you order cigs over the 'net so I had to send them a check. Let's hope they don't catch on with e-cigs and deny the use of credit cards to order supplies.

I've been noticing the quitmeter signatures of the people on this forum and when I sit and do the math it doesn't all add up. I live in New York and cigarettes here cost between $7 and $8 per pack. So that is why I see a whole lot of $avings on my quitmeter. What do analogs cost in your state or country? With cigarettes costing so much in New York I've made up everything I've spend on vaping in the first month!

In the UK, a pack of 20 cigarettes costs 5 pounds which is US$8. The government are gradually hiking up the tax well about the rate of inflation in order to deter people from smoking. Or else to raise extra taxation! Guess which is the more likely?!

Around a year ago we switched from name brand to generics. I can't remember the exact difference, but it was substantial.

I used the price we were paying for our generics at the time I quit in my smoke meter. We live in Illinois but are right on the Indiana border. We paid $40 per carton, and my wife and I bought two cartons every week. $320 a month on cigarettes between the two of us! And there were months where we smoked more than usual. Since I use Quicken to track my finances and I always use my debit card to buy smokes, I can see how much I spent in any given month. I have seen months where we spent almost $500 on cigarettes (although that was before switching to generics).

My meter is for my personal usages, but my wife smoked roughly the same amount and we both quit on the same day, so it is interchangeable. :)

Although I have probably spent around $400 on e-cig supplies over the past few weeks, we have enough to last us for at least 6 months to a year. Huge difference! And so long as batteries and atties hold up, we can make our own nic-free juice for next to nothing. Plus, we hope to drop the e-cigs eventually and be done with everything.

Wow - I live in the midwest United States - Missouri to be exact, and analogs are still only 3.69 for Pall Malls and I think 4.96 for Marlboros? Not positive but I'm pretty sure that's what I saw last time at the gas station.

I still remember a couple of years ago when I quit regular smokes PMs were only around 3.25 or less in some places (under 3 bucks!) And I had switched to them because Marlboro was rapidly approaching 4 bucks a pack which I thought was insane at the time :p

Sure is amazing how times change!! (And how fast!)

I was doing MYO for $.73/pack before the last SCHIPS tax, which added 1.12 per pack = $1.85/pack. Salems which is what I smoked prior to MYO, are going for $49-53/carton ie. - Ohio.

I went to pipe tobacco back in April when the taxes increased so mine did not go up that much I figure I get about 2 cartons out of a 1 pound bag. So I calculated my cost to be about 1.10 per pack since the cost of tubes did go up.

Thanks for the offer... I should be good but one never knows. And VG's fine. Just ordered a whole lot of it myself. I figured from your other thread
that you might be allegeric to PG. Not good from what I've read from Spikey and others.
