No, I didn't. I avoid date setting websites. They are usually full of hooey. Then I saw someone mention "latter rain". "The Latter Rain Movement is anti-dispensational and amillennial, and many leaders of the movement embrace aberrant teachings."
oops! That would be me... my bad... I didn't have time to really research or investigate them.. 
Is that also where the video about the 2 witnesses came from?

I hate to appear to be what Saints calls a "stick in the mud", but I guess that's what I am. Or maybe a "stickler in the mud". This is a "public" forum. People (non-believers, seekers, and new believers) can come by here and look. If we come off as "endorsing" a particular message or video by someone who turns out to be a false prophet or teacher, the person goes away with false information and our witness is damaged.

Well, the way I see it is we all have to be careful as even the elect can be drawn in.....that's why it is so important to stay grounded in Scripture otherwise you (meaning anyone) can fall for anything. I don't remember where I read about the two witnesses being decapitated....who knows. That bugs me. But anyway, test the spirits. God says to do it, and if He said to do it, it must be important. High five!!

Amen!! Maybe that's why I'm a stick in the mud--because I try to stay "grounded" all of the time.
LisaLisa, I haven't posted here before but I wanted to point out that I read your earlier post about a guy who said the end would occur around Oct. 19th of this year. I don't really believe this stuff (predictions of the end times), but I must say it made me tense until that date passed. Why do you follow these kind of predictions so closely?
LOL........I don't follow them closely at all. In fact, I haven't even watched the videos, just breezed through the first page of the website very quickly. But I see nothing wrong with examining the beliefs of others, some are true, some are false, but you won't even know the true ones unless you check it out.
I don't remember anything about Oct. 19th and Armageddon..........but we really are living in the last days and this could come at any day, and we should always be prepared for it at anytime.

Gonna be honest with you all here. Anytime I hear ANYONE "predict" anything (time/date) related to Biblical end times prophecies, I have to respond with a mental eye-roll.
NONE of us knows with any sort of certainty what the end times will be like exactly, and the Bible is CLEAR that no man will know.
If we even entertain this stuff we open ourselves up to deceptions. Not to mention, we hurt our credibility as it appears we are not taking God at his word, "NO MAN KNOWS..."

Alright, I have to get back to my painting/sanding now. This sucks, wish I could hire someone to do it, I"m sooooooooooo sick of painting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We finished up the livingroom the other day, now I just have the kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the diningroom to go and then I"m finished! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This house was a foreclosure and they completely demolished it, holes in all of the walls.......I mean like 250 holes. Not kidding. The spackeling and sanding has been a huge job just getting them ready to paint!
