Hi everyone, first of all I have to say your forum is really really helpful, a lot of threads here helped me with my e cig and so I thought maybe I should join since, I'll be honest, I could probably use some help deciding on all sorts of stuff e cig.

And now, for my question, I have an Ego-C 2 Upgrade 1000 mAh (Relevant?) and am wondering if I should maybe get the Twist. I mean, I usually don't switch to unregulated mode unless it's charging (thank god for Passthroughs), but I would like to try and find a sweet spot instead of always switching back and forth between regulated and unregulated when I want more vapor, or when I want a better throat hit (I'm not a chain smoker or anything, but I did use to smoke a lot. I remember back in high school kids would call me smokey because I smoked so much). So should I get a Twist? Cause, I like the idea, seems pretty badass but I don't know.. Maybe I should wait until the eVic prices go down? :|

If you are committed and going to vape forever, not just to quit smoking, get something with awesome reviews that takes a battery, buy a great charger and use the best batteries you can get making sure they are right for your device. Learn about battery safety and then you are set to save a lot of money on stuff and also have a great vape. Variable volt at least. There are so many now that are great. I'll somebody else list them. I don't like the idea of stacking batteries;neither does some other people. I just use AW IMR batteries and devices that prefer that kind IMR kind.

I also use clearos for my Upgrade, but I use CE4, not as bad as everyone says, just a pain to clean those things..
I guess I'm pretty committed, but I don't see the problem of having two different batteries, not really stacking, I guess, I'm also not one of those people who have tons of e juices, I buy JoyeTech juices and usually have just one available for me and when it runs out I just go out and buy a new one, but if I am going to get another battery I guess I should start buying 2 bottles each time.

Sure try the VV Twist if you wish. It's all up to you.

There are a lot of factors involved choosing the PV that is right for you. Size and portability, battery capacity, pass-though power, voltage, voltage regulation, variable voltage, finish, durability, safety, and high tech appeal to mention some.

None of these factors are absolutely necessary in choosing a PV or an APV that is right for you, including VV function.

I have a few twists. I love them. Your tastes and nic needs change so you can adjust to your liking of the moment. My average sweet spot is 4.2. I think everyone should have a twist. Especially when being new as it helps beat those cravings. Some cravings get so intense. I also use the Vision 2.0's clearos. Just like the CE4's but you can take them apart to clean and if the coilhead goes bad, you can just replace it and they are only about 2.00. Cheaper than buying more CE4's and work better IMO.
Later when you decide if you will continue vaping them you can upgrade to a Variable Volt Provari or something comparable if you want.
Welcome to ECF and Good luck! You can do it :)

I'll be honest, the only problem I really see with the Twist is the fact that it doesn't have a Passthrough and that's why I'm asking if I should maybe wait until eVic prices go down.

See, the problem is, I would change to a Provari or something similar if it were available, because Provari actually seems better than the Ego, but the fact that I live in Israel kind of limits me because I can only get access to JoyeTech products. I was actually lucky enough to find a store that sells everything I need, only 10 mins away from me.
