understandably, it would be easy to miss some posts in that monster 150 reply post, so don't hate me for asking again
and again, these are pretty minor questions, bordering more on curiosity than wanting "hard answers" about them.
do you believe that a swallow could carry a coconut? perhaps if two of them cooperated, and supported it with a piece of string in their beaks? or do they lack the air speed velocity?
which comedy team is better, Tim and Eric, or The Mighty Boosh?
(real question) i don't know that this has been asked, i know the "real" Prodigy will look like the pic, but do they actually have the "Prodigy" name on them, as they do in the picture?
would aesthetic alterations be a void to the warranty, such as pinstriping, permanent markers to write your name on it, painting it, drawing peace signs on it, etc?
and with the new changes, i just checked the site and saw the 18650 batteries have been removed (for clarity and less confusion i'm sure) so that should help keep people from mucking up orders i see?
and after readiing all these replies, i think you're onto something with the 5v. i also got the 3.7v for the battery life and also that i have a stash of 901 atomizers and didnt want to start fresh on 801....but your point made about 5v passthru and 5v "battery" is dead on. i definitely love the hit of my passthru better than the standard batteries, so i think that needs to be emphasized.
and my humble opinion on "long" battery users, i hardly use 1ml a day, just more on the weekends, but my standard 901 batteries last me a couple days with my minimal daily vaping. so i really think the idea that this new config isn't going to last "as long" as the 3.7v while accurate, may be a bit skewed.
i'd think if one goes through a handful of regular batts as is, there may not be a "one battery a day" solution for that, at least one that DOESN'T give an improvement to the current ecig....hence...5v better power, taste, longevity...so to me i think the battery issue should be less important than having a device that is set to push new boundaries and give a new experience.
now, i can't speak for 6v folks that just need that extra hit ;-) but i think this new change is pretty appealing, and i'm glad it's being done. i didn't give that much thought on the 3.7v not really being that strong, but now i'm glad i didn't have to make that decision and it has all been worked out for me!
also, thanks to all you jerks, i've actually used the words "milliamps per hour" in conversation. i'm already nerdy enough, i don't need to learn all this too!
wow i babble.
oh, seems like this was answered before, what's the average recharge time for the batteries? typical 6-8 hrs or is it faster than that?
