Lockdown here, but not as severe as some states. Restaurants, libraries, long term facilities, and many other businesses are closed except for pickup at restaurants. Walmart, Target, and supermarkets are are open but must shut down by 10:00 p.m. You can shop anywhere that isn't closed, but with outrageous lines at all of them due to limits on occupancy rates.

How's it where you are?

Not on lockdown yet. WV. We just all wear masks. WV ians actually do that.

Covid cases aren't rising. I'm not even gonna get into it.

Anna

Same in Middle Georgia. Masks are common and most people we see when we are out are wearing them. Several people in our subdivision have reported that they were diagnosed with Covid-19 and beat it. Those were retired people like me. Looks like those who have no serious complications from other issues seem to recover after a couple of weeks.

No lockdowns here, with our Trump clone anti-science governor. I'd sure feel more secure about the community if we were. But, I am at home excepting essential trips, like taking my mother to dialysis which since March has accounted for at least 90% of my drive time.
I have groceries delivered. Every other week I must buy gasoline, wearing gloves there and at the uncommon visit to the ATM.
It's sad more people aren't taking this virus seriously, we could knock it down until the vaccines are widely available. And thousands of lives would be saved.

Well the vaccine gets here in a couple weeks. I am going to have to call my doctor fast. I don't want to be the guinea pig.

Having had Covid already, I SO don't want to be the guinea pig. I mean I am normally pro vaccination but these two are weird birds. They're not so typical. IDK I'm probably more scared of the vaccine than covid honestly. For all I know, COVID's mortality rate could be lower. But at least um, whatever happens it will all be over unit the fat lady sings.

I must say, even if the vaccine were not so UN-brutally fatal (sigh, I am not minimizing deaths, and also I bet all the "poor COVID 19" folks have not stopped for an instant to mourn flu victims) well, when it comes to pandemics all our societies would have gotten an F minus.

To be fair, it's almost impossible to manage a real pandemic. All the Monday morning quarterbacks should just remember that.

Well first our POS, I mean POTUS, wanted to basically ignore it, and then fire people in the Administration that wanted to do something about it and most probably could and would have, but now it's a footrace - Trump to FDA: Why is Europe beating us on vaccine?
