Thanks for all the support and advice guys!

I'd be that much closer to a Reo if cheesecake wasn't coming out next Tuesday. I carry my MVP and my VV on me at all times. It really amazes me that I smoked for almost 20 years considering how much I hate the taste and smell of those things, but a habit is a habit I guess. Especially with all those super addictive chemicals added. I don't necessarily beat myself up when I slip, but it sure is hard to get that taste out of my mouth. I've been vaping since April and really have come along way. I guess I'm just ready to take that last step to freedom, especially now that I'm back to work. The restaurant business is SUPER stressful and I just don't want to backslide.

You're doing great!! It took me quite a while to get completely off of cigarettes. I actually started vaping late last year, but was not able to fully kick the habit until about a month ago. I was constantly trying new devices and they helped some as I upgraded, it wasn't until I got a Reo that I was able to fully quit. I know that others have already mentioned it, but it was what got me over the hump. The flavor and nic hit that I got from the Reo, along with determination and the support of everyone here got me through my first weekend of detox symptoms that I was experiencing, after that it has slowly gotten easier and I am actually dropping my nic levels. Everyone is different and you have already come along ways. You will figure out what works for you and when you do, you will fully quit. The most important thing that people told me was not to beat myself up for still smoking some, but to reflect and celebrate how far you have come. Congrats on far you have come!! :thumb:

I keep a clearo of Ahlusions Winter Wildwood on my at all times (at 18mg mic) just for those "I'm craving a smoke" times..... It gives me that not fruity/bakery/whatever smoking fill I need...

Ok,

I USED to keep a clearo of that.... I got Wakonda in the mail today.... That fits the bill perfect... Finish up my Wildwood, and I'll be carrying Wakonda with me at all times for those "craving" moments...

I LOVE the H1N1 and all the bakery and other flavors.... I alternate through them throughout the day (usually bounce between 2 any given day... But I always keep a third filled up with something that gives me that higher nic (I bounce between 12 and 18), and a less crazy taste for those times.... As my counter will show, I'm still pretty fresh of the stinkies, so that's my current way of coping....

The Wakonda has a great flavor, don't mean to insult by comparing it to smokes... It's not, it's absolutely awesome, but for me, it's something that just is a little more neutral, while still having a perfect throat hit, etc.... I think that's one of the reasons I can see it playing a HUGE roll in my rotation.... Most likely the 1 juice I have with me at all times regardless what else I'm carrying....

One by One, all my previous juices are getting replaced by NT ones....... Did the whole order from different suppliers every time deal to find something good; til I found NT, now it's pretty much the 1 stop shop....

Evening Mike! Glad to see you got your Wakonda in and that you like it! It's good stuff and it gets even better. I saw your other post about Home Slice - I thought you were getting the Peanut Butter Cookie instead. Try a little of the PBC next order, and you can add it to flavor up your Home Slice as well. (GrapeApe is good for getting more jelly into the Home Slice, if that's what it's lacking for you.) Not every juice hits for every person, try it off and on for a few weeks or so and if you want, you can swap it on the Swap Meet thread for something else. I may do that with two of my bottles of Home Slice. I bought too much!

I really like the peanut butter side of home slice. Just need a little grape ape to add to it. Going to order some here real soon. Debating putting it on tomorrow's order. Also when the 3 new flavors hit Tuesday, I'll be curious to add those to the home slice too. Seems like a great juice, just a little light on the grape. I want to go somewhat big (for me) on Tuesday so I'm trying to control myself. Lol. But I gotta order the cookie just in case it's not around long!!!

yep, Wakonda is powerful - the best tobacco vape I've ever had (best vape, period). kills any urge I ever have to smoke in a heartbeat

I've been vaping mostly exclusively for the past couple of months but my gf still smokes. Every now and then, usually after a few beers, I have a craving I just can't beat and end up bumming a smoke. I'm am trying to find a way to kick these cravings without picking up a stinkie. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have noticed that if I have my dripper on hand a couple of puffs of 12 mg on that usually knocks it right out, but I rarely take it out of the house. I was thinking of maybe getting a small bottle of 18mg for these occasions, or possibly picking up a flavor that's wildly different from my usual vape tastes? Idk.

I actually started vaping just to slow down my smoking, but after finding NT juices, I stopped buying packs and just more juice. Now when I do bum a smoke I feel bad, so I'm looking for a full time quit strategy.

Having a little 18mg around never hurts in those situations!! If you go that route (like I did), I think you will find that the situations in which you have the urge will be fewer and fewer as time goes by. Don't delay though - you don't want to 'train' your body that every time it gives you 'that feeling' you are going to satiate it with an analog... the longer you wait to make that behavioral change, the harder it will be to break that habit!

That's excellent advice Clark! I never thought of it as training my body that way. I got some 18 for now, but its not as good as my NT juices. That change in perspective should help to keep me motivated to hold out until next Thursday when I place my new order.

I tell you what, this NuThouse is awesome!! You guys and gals rock my socks off.

You decide WHEN, and we will be there for you, every step of the way. We can support you, encourage you, help you pick yourself back up, and listen when you need it. Don't try to battle this alone. There is no need to!

REO Grand LP
LP RM2 (listed as "LP Reomizer" on the website)

beyond words fantastic.

also need some 18650 batteries and a charger
^ This.

Along with a spare spring and a couple spare RM2 screws. You could pop the spring if you build an atty with a short so it's good to have a backup - and if you drop one of those RM2 screws, you won't find it - they're tiny!

Hmm, the answer is yes Spooky - but I'm afraid I can't help you there as I've only used rebuildables with it. Rebuilding is nothing to be afraid of for a beginner - especially with the very forgiving and easy to work with RM2. But if you'd like to avoid rebuilding (for now or forever) you can do that. I would post over on the Reos Mods forum as those people know everything about it and will load you with answers and options in like 20 mins time. What I do know - any bottom-fed carto will work fine.

To my knowledge even a Kayfun would fire on a REO - but why on earth anyone would do that is beyond me :)
Bottom fed attys is what you want - rebuildable or non-rebuildable :)

Yup, that's the setup I'm saving up for. With the additional backup kit and extra bottles.

Meanwhile, made it through a holiday weekend and a bowling night with plenty of pitchers without bumming a single drag off of a stinkie. I found some 24mg way in the back of my steep drawer that I bought probably back in April, or back when vaping still made me cough. Its been doing the trick! :vapor:

Once you get into rebuildables 24mg might be a little much. But congrats on making it through a "trigger" moment. Just gets easier from here on out.

Um very cool, but not sure if this looks "starter" to me. Is there an acceptable REO mod set up that doesn't require a rebuildable and if so what would that starter "kit" look like?
Before Rob came up with the Reomizer, a lot of Reonauts just used regular old 510 dripping attys on their REOs. Something like one of these:
Joyetech 510 LR atomizer.
