Thanks for your replies. I guess I can relax a bit now and look forward to the weekend and trying them out. It just seemed from the posts above that such an apparently small difference in resistance would be a make or break, depending on voltage in use. And, possibly worse, I don't like a really hot vape*.
I picked them because my experience with 510s in the 2.5 ohm range have been great. But, alas, these aren't 510s. So, I guess I'll find out. Thanks again.

* I tried a SR 510 at 7.4 volts experimentally and found it to be intolerably hot, blech!

I ran my 3.0-3.2 cartos today on my Omega with an 18650 Batt, they worked fine but they are just a bit cool, so I threw them on my Provari and Buzz and ran them at 4.2 and they where fine the 2.4-2.6 is a bit hot for me, this is why I prefer the 2.8-3.0 on an ego or 3.7 batt, so those would probably work great on a 3.4 Ego, the 2.8-3.0 they are just perfect for me but everyone is different, besides the fact that I'm a bit spoiled with all my mods and I just like this set up a certain way. If I take my 3.0-3.2 and crank it up a bit on one of my VV mods the sweet spot for me is 4.2v with the 3.0-3.2 I have just planed on running mine on some of the newer Ego type Batts that are 3.7 instead of the lower 3.4 ones. I really like the 2.8's best of all and that's just my personal preference on a 3.7 set up I find the vapor heat and flavor perfect on this set up, others may like a different set up, I just find the 2.8-3.0 ceramic cartos run best at 3.7 for me. I also find less is more with these cartos when it comes to taste, I here of people running these at 5-5.5v and to me they just taste burnt, so less is more for me on these, if your running the lower ohm 2.4-2.6 ohm a Ego that is 3.4v I would think that would be a nice vape with these as well. I just bought mine for one specific set up that I like to use when out and about where you kind of look out of place using a big mod. Its really no big deal for most people here I think its all just matching up the proper voltage for what ever carto you are running, know what I mean

As for myself, and my 2.4-2.6 ... I'll play this weekend (if not sooner) on my TorneGo and 18650 based P18. If not to my satisfaction, I have no problem setting them aside until I get my first VV device, which should be within a month or two. I've got plenty of atomizers which work fine with my on hand devices. This Co-op presented an opportunity I couldn't resist.
Not regretting it one bit. I've made worthless vaping purchases before, and I hardly think these fit in that category. :)
Just hoping I'll enjoy them sooner than later, ya know?

I received my cartos Monday, thank you Kevin! :toast:
(still haven't tried them yet...I've been sick)

Unfortunately I was saddened to hear about the shipping issue. Were I in Kevin's place I would had simply refunded the money to those that didn't pay their end of the shipping shortfall, and then turned around and sold them and made a profit. But Kevin was true to his word, which is something you don't find often in today's world.

What I find more sad about this whole drama was that the ones who did end up selling theirs in the classifieds (for a profit, mind you) had not even kicked in some extra for shipping from the start. When Kevin asked for a "few bucks" to help with shipping and handling (and I think he mentioned especially with larger orders) I was personally shocked at how many people purchased a large amount of these cartos, but only paid the face value (yes, we all got that spreadsheet). I guess they were expecting the cartos to magically transport themselves from Kevin's home to theirs?

I will not mention names, you know who you are and so do we. I was just getting a bit infuriated at some of the critical posts in this thread from the last few days after reading them for the first time tonight. Especially after Kevin went out on a limb at the beginning to offer this co-op to us all, only to have it turn around and bite him in the .....

That's what I was doing, and I'm not sure what happened but the tube won't come off easily and even without forcing it,the cartos wouldn't fire after.

Screw it into your device, and gently rock the tube back and forth.Someone posted a video I think about modding the wicking.Be careful putting the tube back on,the little gasket at the base can be a bit tricky. ;)

Durn - I have taken apart 3 of them so far (one 3 times) - even though my eyesight is so bad I can barely see them, all worked well afterward. One of them the middle stem came off the ceramic cup even, and I just pushed it back and it worked.

I did follow the tips in the Video Kevin mentioned and in this one:
YouTube - Ce2 Cartomizer, Fluxomizer Clearomizer Tips & How-to, Gotvapes.com

It is just so nice to be able to get a cartomizer really clean after each re-use - I love these
