I checked NCL's website cause we're looking for a Nov cruise and it said pay for an oceanview and get a balcony but I didn't see it by the prices.......the oceanview prices were a couple hundred dollars less than balcony

Just looking for a decent e-cig after a failed trial with a piece of junk a couple years ago. Cruising on Miracle over Easter to Bermuda, my 8th cruise, 5th Carnival. Can't wait to be comfortably vaping instead of jonesin' this time around.

Have a question. Jackie said V4L's cool carts will fit on the KR8, so I'm thinking about getting one of their batts as well. Will the KR8 battery chargers works with the Vapor King batts? I love the pink and purple.

All batts and cartos that say KR808d-1 will interchange. There is a KR808d-2 out there so be careful of that. It is the one from the mall and not seen very often around here.

Vaporking and V4L are 808d-1. There is no problem with mix and match.

We are about to come out with some guidelines regarding this on the ships with most areas if not all being ones where we will allow them to be used. Anyone have any thoughts they want me to send to the beards before a final desickion is made?

The Captain of the Carnival Pride is a Vaper so hopefully he has had the opportunity to impart some accurate information to the "beards" as John Heald refers to the Carnival brass. I hope we are allowed to vape in most areas of the ship (I have no issue with them not allowing it in the dining room or the buffet areas). It would be wonderful not to be relegated to smoking areas when I"M NOT SMOKING!
Right now I'm vaping Keoke Coffee with Cinnamon Redhots. if anyone caught a slight whiff they would only catch a scent of coffee. I'll be going on the Carnivl Magic's transatlantic cruise later this year......with 16 days onboard I'm sure hoping its a pro-vaping atmosphere. LOL

Hi Butterscotch!! Great to see that you've made the switch to the ecig, congratulations! I've been out of the country for the past 3 weeks, on a cruise from Brazil to Rome and then 4 days at a hotel in Rome .. vaped everywhere, even in the Sistine Chapel at the Vatican . Our cruise from Brazil had 3,000 passengers, only 60 were Americans. The Brazilians are HUGE smokers and everytime they saw my ecig they came over and tried to ask me about it .. but they spoke Portugese and I am illiterate to it. Even though I couldnt "talk" to them I did "show" them how it worked and they were fascinated with the battery. I even wrote out the website where they could buy them and I hope they understood.

Glad you are happy with your KR808, although I have a lot of mods I still use my KR808 all the time and almost exclusively when I'm traveling. Welcome to the wonderful world of vaping!

I don't think that will happen, I hope we are allowed in non-smoking areas around the ship! It would be great if they started selling these onboard, maybe we could convert more smokers LOL

Well thank you so much for saying that KJ. From my very first vape I never wanted nor had another analog .. the ecig did it all for me. When that happened I just wished they had had ecigs "back in the day", instead of me smoking those terrible cancer sticks for 40 yrs and nearly killing myself in the process. I am not strong enough to totally quit, that is never something I wanted to do and dont now either .. but I had tried everyway there was to try to quit and nothing worked for me .. until the ecig. I vape everywhere .. on airplanes, in stores, in restaurants .. I do "stealth vaping" in those places. On the cruise ships I vape everywhere too and so many passengers have asked me about my ecig .. they try it, they love it. I feel that the more people know about the ecig the more lives that will be saved. I think ecigs are the greatest invention ever .. at least for me they are!

I see you are also in Texas .. yes!

I totally agree! I first read about ecigs on CC and although I knew some friends that had been using them I never really though it was a viable alternative until I read what Jackie was writing. Ordered my ecig and the rest is history. YaY! Thanks Jackie.

So here's a funny story ... we cruise all the time, 6 weeks ago we were on a long 2 1/2 week cruise and I was vaping my caramel juice. A gal and her husband came up to me and said what is that fantastic smell? I told them it was the juice in my ecig. They had never seen nor heard of an ecig. The wife asked me if she could try it, so I put a carto condom with a hole I had cut over my mouthpiece and she tried it. She went crazxy and said it was the best thing she had ever tasted. So next her husband tried it .. he loved it too!

Now get this, neither of them have ever smoked!!! But they insisted on getting all the info about my ecig, and specifically about my juice. I told them they could get zero nic juice and told them my formula for my own juice.

I got an email from them last week .. they are both vaping zero nicotine juice and loving it. Too funny .. even non-smokers are digging the world of vaping.

So the wife went on to write that they brought their PV's to a party they went to .. and the party was full of smokers. All of the smokers tried their ecig and then bought their own and have all now completely converted over to ecigs. They all told my friend that as soon as they had their first vape, that was it for them, they only want to vape now.

I really feel a responsibility to teach everyone about ecigs. So many people have never seen nor heard about them. There are always a few who just dont want to give up their analogs, for whatever reason, but the majority of them are looking for a way to not feel "deprived" and the nicotine in the ecig gives them what they need, so they can convert to ecigs like we all did.

In fact, we should all remember to keep the ecig postings on cruise critic active and not stop posting on them .. because everytime those ecgis threads appear back on page 1 of the message boards then more and more cruisers learn about the ecig.

In my first months of vaping I tried so many different juices, looking for my own personal favorite. I swear I spent $1000 on differnt juices, everyday the mailman would arrive with more packages. After nearly 5 months I finally found my own nirvana, and it was with 2 different Tasty Vapor liquids that I mix together to create a caramel that I love. However, I did try 3 of Backwoods Brews juices, they are very nice however for me they werent right and here's why.

The first 2 weeks of my vaping I only vaped tobacco flavors because that's what I thought I would want. But then I changed to fruits and candies and dessert and bakery ones. A funny thing had happened and I never again wanted even one hint of a tobacco taste in my juices. All of the juices I got from Backwoods had an undertone of tobacco in them. I tried 3 differnt ones: the caramel cappuccino, the malty and the malty toffee. They were good, but not for me because each one had a slight undertone of tobacco that I could taste. But for many people Backwoods Brew is their favorite and I can understand why, his juices are great .. but just werent for me.
