Custom tips? That little plastic cover on the LED at the tip... can I replace it with something?

Most e-cigs have a little plastic cover on the LED at the tip, it's often bumpy and grey to look like ash, I guess. It occurs to me that a simple cosmetic mod would be to pop it out and pop something else in... but what might fit?

Do any companies make things for this purpose?

Maybe I could make something with sculpy clay? It's semitransparent.

Are there any photos of things people have done with this part?

I might even be up for re-wiring the led... there was a time when I worked with leds a lot.

There are some threads in here with pics of people who used BeDazzle beads on the ends to great effect. There was also a video that explained how to do this but the video is private and I haven't found anything else. Maybe someone else knows or can explain the details Or you can go to page 5 or 6 I think it is and find some threads on it.

there's a few companies that offer for actual jewels to be put there. kinda pricey lol

Lots of people replace them with little glass gems.. cheap at michaels. I saw a youtube video where the girl walked you through the whole mod. Maybe do a search for ecig, gem?
