Let us speak of the epalm.

Got one to try. The wife liked it so she loaded it up and took it with her to work. It fired one time and then would not turn on again until I took out the battery and put it in again. Looking closely at it, this mod may be designed for a flat top 18350. If I leave the bottom cap backed out a couple of turns, it works but has a gap that does not feel good in the hand. I took the top switch off and tested it and it seems to have all the functions and voltages of an ego switch and I found that if I put the battery in and then screw the switch in it leaves a small gap that is approximately the size of the button on the top of my 18350, it works fine with the gap moved to the switch where it does not impact the feel in the hand. I will order a replacement switch and another epalm when they are back in stock so I can see if this is an anomaly. I may also order a flat top 18350 since all of mine have buttons which are required for the other telescoping mods I use. Anyone use these with button top 18350?

I have two and there are button tops in both, and they work fine, however I have the AW's in mine.

I was talking to another customer who had issues with the button top also, at the time I was under the impression I was using my efest button top (it didn't occur to me to check because I am an idiot sometimes), so I can no longer say if the efest is the culprit I just made the mistake of assuming and since I am not out of efests I can't test.

My assumption now is that perhaps the efests do not fit properly. The Efest is 35.70/35.80mm and the AW is 35.25/35.35mm (the difference range being my crappy caliper) That's not much of a difference but it could be the cause.

So after telling my other customer that button tops fit (I feel like an ... about that) now it seems that maybe the efest button tops are slightly too large. I can't test it until I get more but it's possible.

which battery do you have?

efest 18350 from order 49923 :)

That is a great charger from efest btw
My flat-top aw 18350's went out the door with the wildfire I gave to a friend for his dad to use in hospice care.

Do you carry flat-top 18350"s or plan too? I usually buy aw from PV who seems to be the only vendor who has them all the time. But the provari requires the button top and PV has no flat top batteries on the site. Do any of the 18350's you have measure the same as an AW?

My order shipped! I woke up to the email... Thanks Eric! You're the BOMB! My son-in-law is REALLY excited... He's getting the green kit... His favorite color is that safety orange :screwy:

sadly no, I have just had the efest and AW's I do not carry AW's anymore because they cost too much.
But I have a few if you'd like to do a swap.

email me if so.

Oops, lol...hilarious autocorrect mistake!!! ... Does this mean the batteries are already charged up, or will they still need an initial full-charge time? Anyone know from previous orders? Thank you!!! :)

Hi Misspoke!

In my experience, many batteries will have some charge to them. My Kangers did. I just vaped away on them until they were completely dead. Enjoy! :)

Oh and yes, Eric ships super fast! I think he has connections in the post office! ;)

Lithium Ion Batteries are normally stored with a voltage of 3.6 This is the optimum storage voltage, and maximizes the shelf life.

Normally you will have to bring them up to full charge before using.

Thank you...I have one charging right now! :)

RodeoGeorge is correct here, I should probably amend my description on those, it is ready to vape and you can do it but it would be best to charge them first, it shouldn't make a huge difference because the factory is supposed to be charge/discharg them for testing butit's China we are talking about and they have been known to cut some corners.

Eric? Have you heard anything about a recall on the EVOD batteries? I just got this in an email from another vendor, but I ordered the blue 650 mAh EVOD kit from DV last week. :(

Hi Tina,

Eric is aware of the recall and is contacting Kanger to get more information. Thank you for being patient!

Tina, from what I know (and it's not much yet) you are in the clear, your kit was made after june 24th, which so far seems to be when they changed the batteries.

But I will post more when I know more.
