Hey Raga,

I know the site can slow down at times but honestly this is the first I've heard of it running -that- slow.

Can you give me a bit of info about your OS, internet browser and version? Perhaps some of the Java code we have on the site is causing an issue or maybe a conflict with a anti-virus type tool you have.

Can you ping our domain name and tell me what the response times are? Can you also run a traceroute?

Yes, I will take care of that this weekend. I'm too tired during the week to even think about my operating system. In all fairness though, last night, I went to the site again, and discovered at the same time, that I needed a Java update. And it appeared to me, from what I could read during the update, that I no longer HAD Java installed. I don't know how that would happen, but then again with computers, who the heck knows why anything happens. I did turn off my virus protection during visits to the site, so maybe something made it's way in during that time. After the Java update (install?), I went back to the site and it seemed to run really well-for a few minutes, then back to the same snails pace. Then it just wouldn't load anything at all. So I had to give up again. So, it may not be just the site. I'm not sure really. But I will message you over the weekend with more details like you asked and see what's up. I really like the products and want to place my order asap. Thanks for the help.

Ok, here goes....

I placed my first order with Vapor Kings recently and rec'd it really quickly. No worries there as it was super fast. I did however get the wrong product. I have a BSB on preorder and found that Vapor Kings fast shipping was what I needed to be sure I got 2 rcr123a batteries in before the BSB so I could have them charged. I purchased 2 x 2pks for 4 batts of the 900 mAh protected units with Li-Ion charger from Tenergy. What I rec'd though was 4 (2 x 2pks) LiFePo4 750 mAh batteries which were less expensive than what I paid. 12.95 I paid and rec'd 7.95 ones....mind you this is by 2 so almost 26 bucks paid and 15 bucks worth of equipment. I read that they handle the wrong item rec'd thing pretty well so I created a ticket and submitted it. I then threw around the idea of just keeping the batteries and let them know that by sending emails with my ticket number in the subject line like they ask for, but then came to realize that the charger (Li-Ion ONLY) will not be safe for the 750 mAh LiFePo4 batteries. Now I am waiting since I've had no response in 24 hours, tried to call them with the number on their site to get no answer and no way to leave a message. I should have my device on around Monday (3 days) and now have no batteries to use in it as I wanted the 6v option and I can't charge my wrong batteries in the unmatched charger. I'm rather disappointed as I've heard nothing but good things about Vapor Kings, but I'm not sure if I'll order there again.

I'm not bashing VK in any way, I just like to be an honest consumer :)

Ok, so Rob did get in touch with me after 24 hours (maybe I was just panicky about not getting everything handled in time) and DID rectify the situation at hand. As stated in the original post, I would not bash VK in any manner and I was just giving a consumers look at a retailer.

At this point he seems to be more than just a retailer....but more so a great all around guy. I got my issue resolved at this point and for that I may find myself browsing their site a little more than I had originally anticipated.

I'll keep the really really sweet in mind, thanks. :) But, ummmm, why are you up so so late? Must be working on getting that new inventory online. (I only realized this as I was typing). Guess I better get to bed.

Actually I went to bed around 9 and then woke up at 12 to get a drink of water and thought I would check the boards....lol I am usually not up this late.
