What does everyone think about this?

A look at the CYBORG DNA20 Tube Mod | Ecig Advanced News

Scheduled to come out soon, but I have not seen any spec sheets. I presume it will be able to go sub ohm and it can easily convert to a mechanical.

Pretty expensive though. It will be about 250ish...

CYBORG

Could this be the next big thing?

if the battery compartment was telescopic like the zmax v3, had ego threading and the price was not as high it would definetly be the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Apparently it will be released as a turn and pull to lock telescopic.

Agreed that it is too pricey even for a telescope.

On the other hand, if it goes sub ohm....

The one major difference between this and the Provari will be that you can actually buy a Provari whenever you want one. I think that part of the Provari's success is that it's a high end mod with amazing build quality and rock solid performance that you can readily purchase any time you'd like.

That being said , yes I agree the cyborg looks really great.

Looks cool as well!!! Only time will tell on how the quality and performance and longevity off this so called provari killer will be. I wouldn't count out provari thoughthey will be around for a very long time. Wouldn't be surprised if they even come out with the next big thing in the near future. The cyborg supposedly goes sub ohm? Did I miss something on the video,I heard nothing about that.

All dna20 mods can do sub ohm. If your coil is too low for the chipset to regulate it the screen will start blinking indicating that it isn't regulating you vape anymore. Instead it's running straight off the batteries power just like a mech does.

I've never heard that before. Could you share a link to that info please?

ProVari killer? For some the ProVari was killed before the ProVari was even made. That's a mech vs board debate. This is like a fancy nancy Evolv kick that screws on top of a mech with 20 watts vs 10 and obviously adjustable. All depends on how you look at it, but ya, I like it more than a ProVari, it has more to give (more amps + VW and more VV) and incorporates both worlds Mech and VV/VW. Build quality? I guess in 3 months we will find out. Ohh not to mention evic compatible, all threading available, and ohh, right they will have a LOT available so little to no delay when purchasing so, hmm, ya, Provape probably needs a complete overhaul to match. 3 months and counting.

A better question is if the DNA20 platform a provari killer. While the Cyborg looks like a very nice mod, it's still only as good as the chipset that's in it and the DNA20 chipset looks very cool. I'm not going to get into the watts vs volts debate because at the end of the day they both do the same thing...they regulate my vape. They just go about it in a different ways. But with all of the features the DNA20 pack in it (sub ohm coils, USB charging, reorienting the screen depending on how you hold your device, battery indicator, vape while charging, etc, etc) the DNA20 platform looks better than what the Provari has to offer as far as technology. Now if someone were to make a DNA20 device with a 1 year warranty and was willing to do repairs years from the date of purchase and if it were easy to get then I would say the Porvari has met its match.

Whatever has the best Hype will win.

Whatever the most people can't get is obviously the best.

It could be the new big thing or it could be a bust. I haven't seen any demo with a working "mech" mode and that is a big selling point.

The other point as brought up previously is if they can make it available consistently. They can't keep their carto tank in stock so I'm not really confident.

^^^ This... Let's see in three months.... 6 months... 1 year....2 years down the road.. Then we can have a conversation... gonna take more than capable chipset and "cool" looking mod to execute a "Provari Killing"
