NO idea what's wrong, but there are hits that are just joyous and dense and lovely. Then suddenly, I'm tasting what is reminiscent of a burnt coil. It makes NO sense. The good hits have a somewhat "gurgly" (juicy?) sound to the liquid in the tank. The awful hits are dry in terms of the sound of the liquid in the tank.

Alas, you're not the only one, if that's any consolation. @Janusz and at least one other person had similar problems. Vacuum lock or some such. There's clearly something weird going on with that "revolutionary" AFC system. Hasn't happened to me yet, but, like I said, I haven't spent much time with my Fresia.

I'll probably revisit it some time later, when I have more time to play with it. Sorry I can't be of more help...

Welp, odd woman out here. I'm experiencing a bit of a love/hate with the Fresia.

First off, they are beautiful looking. Aesthetically, just marvelous. I also love the ease of the top fill.

However ---

I have not tried the bobble glass and who knows, perhaps that would help, but for now, I can only speak to the guzzly 2ml tank.

I'm running two of them, one with Rayonetti and one with Cottonetti. I've rewicked both quite a few time, and they keep switching in good/bad/good/bad. It truly is an enigma at this point.

DPL has encouraged me to just set them aside for now, and I may heed that wise(...) advice. ;) :D

So, my dear Fresias,,,

As I said in one of my post... when fresia works it provides wonderful vape ... but out of the blue vapor lock can
change it to annoying vape. With bubble glass and very careful wicking I reduced this behaviour but not eliminated it completely. Very poor remedy is turning top cap back and forth to release vacum (you wil see a bubbles coming after every back and forth twist of top cap.

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

Janusz, actually your post is very helpful to me. I've really had a great run with most ALL my tanks and sit in perhaps the 90+ percentile for successful wicking/vaping.

This one surprised me, but (and tho) your "poor" remedy of opening back and forth on the top cap waiting for booooooobles seems to have been somewhat effective.

I still don't fully understand "vapor lock", but I'm guessing that's my affliction.

Meanwhile, I may re-wick once again and see I can conquer this pretty little 'siren'.

While I'd not try to encourage (or discourage) anyone from buying it, my experiences with the Fresias mirror what I'd gone through with both the Erlkonigins and the Fumytech GoTanks.

It me a little wiggling to figure out what it liked in the wicking department, but once I did, I like it (also similar to the Erls and GoTanks).

I'm glad we got them, but we've both admitted that we got pulled in by all the hype from the YT reviewers (even though we know better).

I'd like to say that it would be the last time that happens, but we've already knocked it off its perch in that regard. Up next on The (sucker is born every minute) Hit Parade... (Caliburn)

(a fa-lippin' POD, even!!!)

After what, 7 weeks I finally got mine in the mail yesterday..

I've decided not to build it.. I've made a decision to switch to rda's, just in time to get a new rta in the mail.. haha..

it's gone into my vapocalypse box until I change my mind.

But yeah! I finally got it! hahaha

I'm sorry, O, but that's downright FUNNY. NO WAY!!!!

But you can't just lock it in a closet. At least let it out to play with Anna's invisible one.

IMHO MTL mode on Fresia is worse than Galaxies RTA so I doubt you will ever use it... on the other hand LMTL/RL mode is FANTASTIC ... as long as you will not get that "dreaded vacuum vapor lock"...

the whole Saturday and half of Sunday my Fresia was wonderful... but now out of the blue I am experiencing again poor wicking...I checked my wick and it looks perfectly clean... poking some holes with needle helps very little and only solution is either rewick (or new build) or open top cup every couple of draws... this time I will try to continue to vape to see if it will go back to wonderful after a while relieving vacume by turning cup loose... I really like the vape it produce so hope I will figure what cause that dreaded vapor lock. Hope your Fresia will work better than mine.

As far as the wicking goes, @Katya and I were talking on a different thread, and thought I should post my observations here.

When I recieved it, I inspect everything. and one thing I noticed was how close the build deck came to the glass. Every time I had an issue with vapor lock, it seems the air gets caught by the intake and the glass.. with the Fresia, the intake is below the deck. As I vaped, I noticed the air bubbles staying below the deck sometimes. I haven't experienced vapor lock myself, because I usually vape it horizontally.. and when I tilt it, I THEN notice the bubbles going up. I would imagine if you don't tilt your mod as much, the bubbles will stay below. Switching to the bubble glass will help just a bit, but not a drastic change. I've only used the bubble glass, so I cannot say for sure, but I bet if you have a thick VG based juice, the air might be having a problem getting back up to that air reservoir inside the tank. Try tilting the atomizer.. check to see if the air is getting past the build deck.

I am, but not enough to get more. It's a nice atty--no issues except for rather high juice consumption, which is surprising as I'm using it on low wattages. That said, I have to confess that I haven't spent enough time with my Fresia to form a definitive opinion--I've been busy in RW and using mostly atties with drop-in coils because there's no work and no thinking involved. ;)

....and no fun and no flavor.... psssshhh..... :)

My Zenith and my eGo One with CLR coils aren't that bad. And sooooooooooo easy. Thank God for the blister packs!
And thank you for sharing your thoughts on that vapor lock with us here.
