and it's great cuz the kick will shut off when the battery gets to low. you get the same amount of power in your vape with that consistent wattage, despite the level of your battery
Mine was received a few days ago. Im happy to say that this mod is by far one of the best wood mod i have ever had. The only thing is that the button for squonk is not really helpfull. I remove the button & squonk the bottle with my finger. If you add some tube inside the bottle it would work just perfect
Everything else i can say that iam really really satisfied & it has become my main mod. I love the beauty & neat of the design. I love how it felt in my hand
Thanks for the great mod!

Hi Everybody...
First ever posting here on the Modder/Accessories Supplier's Forum.
By way of introduction you may view my past work here:
http://s169.beta.photobucket.com/user/fophotofile/library/?start=all
I'm actually the very first craftsman to Produce a commercially available Exotic Wood PV "for the descriminating vape-freak" on ECF or any other vape site for that matter.
It goes without saying my designs were/are totally original and stem from my background in Design and fabrication of high end wood furniture and casework going back some 30 odd years now.
However...
The evolution in vaping has brought many advances, and I have embraced the best of them.
Like the sealed, copper tubing feed system for feeders first introduced by Rob at Reo Mods.
My feed tubes (and his too now, I assume) have always been Stainless Steel.
Some other innovations of mine have in turn been embraced by others, like my "Gravity Feed System" you may know it as the "Tilt and Shoot" improvement offered by Brian at Red Sky mods....
Well, smile, the case design itself by half a dozen or so others over the years---that's cool vaping ideas should be shared. (faceplam) smile
Still other innovations of mine have never been adopted by others, Like my Exotic wood feed buttons, the squank hole being much less effort to make....you see the plastic bottle though..???
I don't like that!
read: fussy old curmudgeon in the house... that's me
because
My focus has always been on aesthetics that you hold and show off, as well as the performance you expect.
That said, I'm less enthusiastic to provide frills, such as LED lights, lit power buttons, digital read outs and the like.
I've nothing against digi read-outs, it's just that I think a blind man can distinguish a weak battery or a failing atty as well as the sighted, and that all that energy should be devoted to making the vape instead.
Plus, without the read out taking up space, you have room for other things...
Let's face it, it's hard to beat the old school protected 18650 battery driving the atty or carto, or tanked unit in the resistance of your choice or making!!
Yes, we've come a long way with many genius thoughtful folks driving the inovations.
That said
I do provision for the slickest advancements in electronics, I like the variable Watt idea by EVOLV and all Phidias are now "EVOLV KICK" variable Watt enabled.
As far as warantees go, I've yet to refuse a repair dating back to the begining: early 2010...
About the name...
Phidias was the name, like Cher, or Madonna of that kick .... 5th. Century sculpture credited with designing, among other things, the freise of the Parthenon in Greece, he is also the namesake of the math equation PHI which is better known as the Golden Mean Ratio or Divine Proportion of
1 to 1.618
Here's a video about the Divine Proportion
The golden mean - YouTube
The standard Phidias Feeder PV is my homage to Phidias and the Golden Mean...
Hence the name...and that you'll find
your Phidias' Feeder's width will be 1.618 its thickness, and its height to be 1.618 its width.
The power button and inlays follow this proportion as well---the proof of the divine proportion will be found in just the holding of it.
I love the mysteriousness and coolness of it all....
Sorry for the long intro...That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Here's the latest in the series of Phidias PVs
These pictured are made to acommodate Rebuildable Z atty U, or any tank, it's a recessed configuration built to be powered by a protected 18650 (magnetic spacer included) or a "Safe Chemistry" 18650 in conjunction with the afore mentioned variable Watt Kick.
I also do requests, however I refuse to take any monies upfront, that's been the downfall of too many in my opinion.
I trust you is what I'm saying, and you can trust me.
I invoice through PayPal, and only offer the PVs, no juice no betteries no atties---just the PVs
It seems to work for me
anyway...email
fonosmoak@gmail.com
to stake a claim to one...
Do check out my Photo album...
Thanks
