Hey Chinner... Is the battery life as awesome as advertized?

Yes and yes lol. The battery life is amazing. I charge mine every 2-3 days usually, but Its not my only mid. I promise it will last all day, and you just plug it in at night. It won't over charge or damage anything.

@ Chinner----- you may want to point our newest Darwinians to the Darwin thread. I bet a few would love to stroll around in the gutter with us and in between the mindless pages of banter learn a few things from Nebulas posts.

Yeah for sure dude!

I acually started a little thread on the vendor site already here! Has all the links to the Nhaler threads. Doesn't have 400 pages like our other one though lol.. Still waiting for the t shirts lol..

I tried Jack's darwin at the gta get together and was impressed by the flavour. Been debating on buying one since I noticed them on HV site. Finally broke down and picked one up on Friday. Loving the flavour, specially with the ST dual coil cartos. The mega dc that happyvaper is selling rocks on the darwin. I just need a gooseneck and my life would be complete.

Congratulations! The price is a bit of a kick in the pants at first, but it really does vape like nothing else!

I have a giant gooseneck that looks crazy but works well. When you get one, you can literally try anything out there, and have it perform usually better then on anything else! Buy some high voltage atty's! I'm using a HV 801 5ohm right now and it's just ridiculous!

Hungry Great Danes and Pit Bulls? Mama might just become the food :D

I've managed to hold off from buying a VV for 2 and a half months now, but this is just cruel. I could be vaping on one of the best VV's as early as Monday if I order now

Since you're the mod master now, build us a couple of MadVapes VV box kits, will ya? ;)

That thing is weird looking. ( that's what she said ) seriously though I get enough weird looks with my ego an alpha. But I would like to get something with vv, preferably something that isn't 260 dollars.

I had the same thoughts so went and bought the Provari last night, this one just doesent trip my trigger....I had avoided the Provari for a long time but finally gave in to my VV desires, and a decent Mod

Well from reading and videos I have seen recently the main concern with the darwin is the looks of it for one . I don't really like LCD screens and the other estetics turn me off to it . The electronics sound good and In a different mod might make me excited . The non removable batteries and the fact that it is down while charging and finnly the design is just too much for me to give it more that 4 out of 10 . Marry the electronics into a Provari and give the provari longer bat life and I would buy one .

4 out of 10 lol....?

Why is this turning into a provari fanclub thread? If you guys only knew lol...

The darwin is not down while charging, it works as a passthrough WHIlLE charging. The non removable battery is excellent, maybe when my iPhone starts taking removable 18650's, I'll believe you that it's a better system.

No offense, but if you're going to be a provari fanboy on the Darwin thread, at least get your facts together. It'd be a shame if someone passed on this PV because of your narrow and inaccurate assessment. It's one thing to say it's fugly, or state your opinion. it's another thing altogether to post false information, as you've clearly never spent any time with this unit.

Thanks.

Nicely stated Chinner. From an owner of both platforms I can attest that the Vari and the Darwin are well built solid PV's that deliver some of the best performance out there today. While thier paths diverge on design and power delivery they both work extremely well. If you have the money I would suggest buying both. From my experience if I had to choose one unit it would be the Darwin. I actually have two Darwins (yes I like it that much) and while the Vari works great it not as pocket freindly as the Darwin so it never leaves the man cave. The Dawrin however travels around the world with me and has been to 7 Countries. I see many false misguided statements about this PV and they mostly center around the shape and the onboard battery. Well who said Tube MOD's are the holy grail? Batt technology has come a long way, just look at Apple. How many of you own an iPod. Anyway if you want a Provari great you will be happy with your purchase but for those that buy a Darwin you may be just a bit happier. Whatever platform you decide on though remember to state facts not inuendo when posting.

It's surprisingly not that complicated :) I just gotta get the right parts, but I need to take a break from MadVapes orders, it's freaking addictive!

Madvapes err...... I've spent my retirement at that place :) I'm hoping jack from HV brings a Darwin to our local meet tomorrow so I can try, then buy, considering all the raving going on about it in this thread.

He had it with him for the Hamilton meet... something tells me it will be on him tomorrow as well.

Hi I don't know is this is true or not but all of my juice is 36 mg and I usually have an echo or ego going all day. With the Darwin, after about an hour I was feeling dizzy. Somehow I was getting more nic per drag than normal. Plus I was playing spin the wheel for the first few hours with it. Hope you get a chance to try one.

You will burn juice quicker and get more nic per drag with a higher voltage device. I know that with an eGo I can easily chain vape 16-18mg but with the Darwin or Ali'i I had to drop the nic levels down a bit or vape less often or I start getting dizzy.
