Hey Leaford- Don't sweat it. As you already read from my posts. Mine won't charge in the PCC, charges in the USB charger with some wiggling, but charges just fine in the wall charger. Unfortunately, I can't carry the USB and wall charger around. I typically carry my PCC. You guys always take care of stuff so I have no worries!

You're the first I've heard to report that it won't charge on the wall charger. Does the battery's LED come on? And the charger light doesn't come on at all? Is it on before screwing in the battery?

IS anyone else experiencing this?
No, my LED does'nt come on on my battery and the light on the wall charger itself stays green instead of turning red like normal when you charge a battery. Maybe I got a bad battery all together(D.O.A.)?

Leaford don't stress over it. I'm sure most of us don't mind helping you guys work out the bugs.

After I was able to get my shortie to charge on the pcc last night. I used it this morning for about two hours or so and forgot about it until now. I checked it and my pcc had run out of juice so I tried the shortie in the ac charger and usb charger and they both worked. So im going to leave it in my usb charger I have that plugs into the wall for the night.

As of now it looks like it will work I just have to pull the center up when it gets down to far.

I got mine (a freebie so no need to replace it) and immediately tried it and nothing. Put it on the charger and the led turned on and stayed on, but the charger light stayed green. Tried the USB - same thing - stayed blue, but the led didn't go on. Left it on the wall charger a while even though it stayed green and tried to vape, still nothing. Poked inside a bit, fiddled a bit, tried to vape it again and nothing. Put it back on the charger for a while and it is still dead as a doorbell.

As I said, it was a freebie so no need to replace, but if the 4 that I ordered are bad I will let you know. ;)

One question for everyone, has anyone who's bought the shortie batteries tried using the wall charger? We need to know if there's an issue with that.

I could only get mine to charge on the PCC, and even then only after I pulled the center post up. Won't charge on the wall charger, or the USB charger, at all, seems like it pushes the post back down.

I don't think it's an issue with the center post being too short, it's the silicon ring around the center post that holds it in being too weak. Most batteries the center post doesn't move much at all, this one it moves really easily.

I see that now. Thanks for pointing that out, I think you may be right!

Just to add to the information. I got a yellow in today and here is what I found.
out of the bag it worked on the first cart. Not alot of vapor but it did work. I then check the middl post and it looked fine. When I stuck it in the wall charger it did its five blinks and the light stayed green. Took it out and the center post got pushed down almost flat.

I then pried it up a little bit on each side with a pin until it looked like the other bats. put a carto on it and it vaped much better.

i then Slowly and I mean slowly screwed it in the wall charger until the light stayed on and the the charge lite turned red. About 15 minutes later it turned green and I vaped like the other autos.

So if you are gentle with charging it may works. But as stated in earlier post the cent post is stuck on with putty and is easily movable.

The other thing to note was none of the holes were cleaned /punched thru and I left it that way since it draws like a straw/garden hose I put a cut condom around it to control the draw.

So QA needs to be checked when leaford goes abroad.

Hope this helps.

Exactly what mine is doing. Fiddled with the center post, and finally got it to start charging on the PCC.......I think. When I screwed it on, the LED on the batt flashed 3 times, then went out and stayed out. The charge LED on the PCC stayed on. It's been about 2 hours now, so we'll see in the morning if it's fully charged!!

I can't get it to charge on the wall or USB chargers either. Pull up the post like I did for the PCC, but it doesn't work for them.

My batt's led doesn't blink at all when I hook it up to the PCC, but it does blink when I take it off. I left it on my pcc for abount 8-9 hours and the charging light on the PCC never went out. It doesn't really matter with this one anyway, I think I jacked up the pressure switch when I was fiddling with the post, it's a pain to keep turned on when I draw, I can basically only do a series of primer puffs to get any vapor. I'm probably just gonna rip it apart.

Edit: I just tried screwing it in really slowly to the wall charger as someone else suggested, and managed to get it to start charging on it, and I'm also getting the same LED behavior as others have reported, the batteries LED is staying on while charging.

I guess I got lucky. My "Bonus" white shortie that I got in my order today worked right out of the package. The charging is kinda funny. I have to use either my PCC or Wall charger and the led does stay on, but seems to be working just fine. The center post on these is definitely farther down than with our other batteries, but so far it is working with all my cartos.

I got a free green shorty in my order today. Having read this thread, the first think I did was to compare the height of the center post with one of my XL's. They looked the same.

When I put it in my corded USB charger (don't have an AC charger), the green light flashed, then went off. The charger light stayed blue.

I pulled it off the charger and looked at the center post again, it was pushed down. I tried a carto on it and it works, but if the post pushes in any more, I'm sure it won't work.

This is no big deal, since it was a freebie. Just trying to help with my observations which seem to confirm that it's a manufacturing defect.

Thanks, guys! I agree with you all, I've tested it out as well, and I'm convinced the mushy silicon ring is the problem. I've passed that info on to their engineers, and I am waiting for their response. :(

You know, this is actually a great demonstration of the power of the internet! When we act together as a community of dedicated users, we can conquer anything! :D :D
