Dear Frankenmod,

re-modding mods is a good thing. Now your thinking "Green". No need to pillage the planet to make a new mod, just re-mod an old mod. I'd bet you have kept 12,000 tons of carbon foot print from destroying the planet with just this one re-mod alone.

Well done sir, Keep up the good work. (Al Gore also thanks you)

Dear Gummy, I cannot seem to keep my mind from wandering towards modding. Even when I am forced on the trips to Hobby Lobby with the wife I see things all around that my mind instantly trys to assimilate into my addiction. Case in point, I stumbled upon this item which made me think of you.

Dear wandering mind,

The symptoms of wanting to mod everything that you see is a normal part of stage 1 of "Modumust Fever". Embracing this fact is the only accepted treatment known. Your family MUST allow you to purchase as many items as you need to control your symptoms (or live with the consequences).

As far as the Gummy item,
It is not uncommon for a patient to become fixated with their therapist. This is called transference.
Sir, you must understand that by transferring your attention from YOUR mods to me will in no way help with your Fever, however it may help a lot with my ego. (so let me know how well it vapes when you done with it).

Dear Gummy,

My name is Alan and I am a moduholic. Yesterday I took my wife's TV remote and made a 3.7v mod :( I have already made 5v and VV mods, now my mind wanders to the dollar store, where I look at anything that can hold a battery. I have taken my wife's 60-drawer craft parts cabinet and stocked it with batt connectors, switches, FETs, VRs, resistors, etc. What can I do?

Dear What can I do,
Alan, other than modding it seems to me that now your going to need to find a place to put your wife's 60 pair of drawers.
Perhaps you could sort them into 7 stacks, one for each day.

Dear signed up a year ago,

Sadly, yes it will end. when you die. (hopefully of old age).
In the mean time Mod on,,,, Tell you next of ken to make sure not to take your 3 blank 510 connectors out of your pocket. Just have them buried with you for happy modding in the after life .

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

oh that was good...

on a side note I have turned my front room into a computer/ mod lab...so you aren't alone alan How bad is that Gummy

Dear Gummy:

I've noticed that "S" on your little gummy front. How new is that? Or should I say... was it always there? Did it grow from a crystal (like from Krypton) or something else? Did it appear after 1 year off analogs?

Oh, and as long as you are explaining super-powered things, please explain why people (modders) that use DIY mods with removable batteries (like 14500's and such) build chargers into their mods? I understand the fixed battery mods having chargers built in. But for those batteries that are easily removable???? WTF? Besides, if it's a dual battery mod, do you build in two chargers? or what? Not that I mind, modding is all about DIY and doing it your way. I just wanted to know if I am missing something, since I use an external charger.

Dear noticed that "S" on your little gummy front,

1st that is a good question,
Loxmythe and Candy will become ECF veterans today and the avatar changes are for their turning party in the http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...11512-pre-veteran-thread-786.html#post3427625
They have picked Superman and woman for their theme. Hope to see you there.

Now for what brought you here.
Your original thread never answered your question but instead they wondered off into the best way to do it, how to do it, when to do it, but not Why to do it.
Simply put the reason is known as "One Upmanship". My dog is bigger than your dog, my car is faster.
No matter what humans do some other guy will come along and try to show everyone that he does it better.
(oh sure sometimes they do, do it better). Fortunately with modding It just doesn't matter, unlike religion which has started wars. So the only reason is Just like the dog,,,, "Because we can"

We all like a good 'ol fashion "Atta Boy" when people like our work. So it's all good. That's WHY they are doing it. they are hoping for an "Atta Boy". I still don't understand why people want LEDs on them (if you need a stupid light to tell you that your mod is working then you didn't build a very good mod anyway) but, next year we may all be putting MP3 players in our box mods. Or perhaps by then it will be MP5 players.

Oh hell,,, MP3,,, that's a good idea,,, I'll be back latter. your on your own, no charge.........

Dear Gummy,

I like my the LEDs on my mods, multiple LEDs even, different colors, blinking, even color changers, they're handy when you're vaping huge clouds and have to find your way thru the fog (amber or yellow are best for this). They are also an attention getter, never understood the idea behind stealth vaping.

Signed,

Dear gummy,

Another form of treatment that I have found involves support from other sufferers of this fever. Case in point, making you a new tailcap for your PV. In making you this tailcap, I help manage my own symptoms of stage 3 Modumust fever. I am perfectly happy with this affliction as long as there are others out there that need my mods

Wow, A nearly full waiting room.

Let's see who was 1st?
I think I can take care of UFO Vaper and Attypops at the same time.
In the 70's we had organ lights. So building a mod that has it's mutli-colored blinky lights that pulse to the music coming from the built in AM/FM radio should keep you to busy to get into any trouble.

Dear outside practice,
I did go check the thread you linked to. Yes they need help. But it seems that they have devised clever ways to deal with their problems. However their solution may lead to other problems on the home front. This is why I recommend that your family MUST support your affliction and help you deal with the Modumust Fever. Because "if momma ain't happy, ain't no body happy" ,,,,,,,,, This bring me to Kenom.

Dear Had to go stand in the corner for a month,
I see that your just here for your monthly check up, and you seem to be doing well with your current treatment.
The holistic treatments that you are on are working great. Thanks to the team of research scientist have developed this holistic treatment, It is the best med on the market for the treatment for Modumust Fever, It is turning small parts on a lathe. It works even better than inhaling flux fumes.

So all in all, yous guys just need to take two drops of e-juice and call me in the morning.

Oh no,

Now I am modding other things to support my modmustfever. I am making a variable voltage soldering Iron, Hotplate reflow setup, and a 4th hand helper to use in conjunction with my 3rd hand.

And now I got my uncle the machinist looking into how much he will charge to make connectors and genesis bodies!!!

Dear Oh no,

Not a problem at all. Just a normal part of stage 2.
You are not alone, many modders entering this stage worry that the affliction is getting worse. And well, yes it is, but not to worry it is a lot like stage one but now the tools that you need to satisfy your fever cost a lot more than your wife's remote control. but as long as you have the support of your family (and bank account) you will be just fine.

Dear Gummy I seem to have re created the flux capacitor...my mod is running an impossible amount of time on 14500 400mah lifepo batteries...I have been told its possible however unlikely by an authoritative source but also that I may have overpowered batteries in the wrong wrapper ...whatever shall I do Dr supergummy
