Ok so the batteries that go in the provari, you repair those. Every one says that mvp is disposable, but arent the batteries that go in the provari disposable too?

So the provari is vv and not vw?

I have the MVP2, and it's VV and VW. If the MVP2 is the criteria by which VW is judged, then VW fails compared to the Provari's VV, and no one should buy anything VW. Hey... garbage in, garbage out:).

And its built like a tank as far as dropping, what about tank leakage? Hiw does it do with that?

Does just fine. Matter of fact, this just happened to me when I screwed on my head incompletely, and leaked a FULL 7ml tank onto and into my Provari. I wiped it off. Hasn't skipped a beat because the juice never got inside... it did puddle all over my table tho... ugh.

And its 510 threaded only?

Yes. Why on earth with anyone want a powerful battery to operate an Ego threading? That's why you'd buy an Ego? Would you buy a Tractor Trailer to haul your groceries to and from the store? *scratches head*

Am i correct in this so far?

You sure are:).

Fyi i am genuinely interrsted and that is all.

oh my never mind, i did not know this was going to be over $200 to get a setup.
my bad, for some reason i thought it was around $150 all said and done.

disregard my questions

When all's said and done, the peace of mind not having to worry about breakage, repairs, voltage drops, with a consistant and great vape.... for YEARS... is worth a single carton of cigs more. Considering that I could smoke a carton a week, that's a non-issue. Considering what I'm saving on cigs, I can buy a new Provari a month and be dead even budget-wise. So big deal it's $200.

But here's the best part... I can buy a Provari a month, smoke it for a month, sell it used... and because they hold value better than other APV, I can buy a different color brand new Provari the next month if I want to and only be out $20. Can you do that?

And bring ice, we're getting a bit low on the veranda. I blame the Zombie making zombies.

My dear Ocelotta, I shall bring you ice. I have Provi shaped ice cubes just waiting to melt gleefully on the veranda. What would you like on top?

He's not making zombies. His vanity is running away with him and he's keeping himself on ice ever since he noticed he was decomposing.

Some people can't just rot gracefully. *tsk tsk*

I have a SiD, a K101 dripper and various eGo's....what difference will I see. I never change the wattage, voltage on the SiD. just rely on the Wattage autopilot but considering a Provari because they are BEAUTIFUL. What difference will I see?

If you unfocus your eyes you will see TWO of them at once.

Provari will require your own adjustment but will tell you the resistance of whatever you are working with. It is also built like a ....ing tank. It will take pretty much whatever you throw at it and laugh. Quality and durability are second to none that I have seen yet. Semovar is supposedly up there too in those regards but it's super new thus not tried and true IMO just yet. I want one though; I'm just hesitant. I actually managed to jack my Provari up after a year and the customer service was great. I'm in the process of sending it in as we speak.

If you somehow manage to break it they will fix it. Best warranty hands down. No hassle. I saw someone else earlier Chad I think saying that he managed to bend the connector sitting on it with a tank plugged in and provape said to put it on a stable surface put a block of wood on it and HIT IT WITH A HAMMER.

If that doesn't speak volumes of provari's durability then you're sleeping and dream you is utterly unreasonable and not to be spoken to logically.

Stop debating. Jump in the water is great.

Wow, do the ProVarinati always see post like this?
I mean I expect this in other forums but to come in here and with a failed attempt to bash the ProVari is just a joke.

You mean asking questions? Yea, that's allowed here.

It's the way that people chose to respond that takes a thread in a different direction. Sort of like what you did.

Subtle differences, in which the Provari will provide you the same voltage that you set from start to finish from each battery (no vapor performance drop off as the battery's voltage drops). Smoother voltage regulation; no rattlesnake voltage regulation like the SID has.

You'll notice higher grade of quality craftmanship and more durability. You'll have peace of mind that your Provari can be repaired post warranty and not be considered a disposable PV. It can be kept good as new for as long as you want it to be. History has shown that the majority of Chinese-made mods are lucky to see their first birthday. The vast majority of the first Provari's are still in use.

Dependability, reliability, consistancy, durability, and repairability are key words that come with Provari ownership.

Since I got my first Provari, I have more or less retired my mechanical mods, even with my RBA's.

I got my Provari for $160. The charger was $5 from madvapes and the batteries were around $10. The charger has worked for years and years now and I just got new batteries this month after over a year of servitude from the 1st pair. Still cycling them too!

And just look at his avatar! Good lord the ProVari is fogging out that car!

I gotta be honest... I never really considered the ProVari to be all that attractive, with maybe the exception of the new polished and the gone but not forgotten gold plated... Those are beautiful pieces. It's a well machined work horse... In a drab matte finish regardless of the color you get... No fancy metallic or anodized shiny colors... I find my Lavatube 2.5 to be a better looking mod, but the ProVari performs much better. But hey, if you want it for looks, then that's just another nail in the coffin for whatever you're using now! A ProVari will probably not take the place of your K101, but you may never touch your SiD or eGo batteries again...

I have 3 ProVaris and 2 MVPs (v1).

I bought the 2nd MVP yesterday because a friend of mine who works at a vape shop turned it into a steampunk mod. I actually already have a steampunk tube mod and a steampunk epipe, but this one was special because of who made it. Yesterday, I had 1 year not smoking and this person is a big part of why I am still here. Anyways, on the way home, I got sad thinking that someday (when the battery dies) it will just be a decoration on my shelf. I love box mods, but I hate that MVP is basically disposable.

I have many mods, but I find myself almost always with a ProVari. For me, they are reliable, and I don't have to think about them. I am way to busy to fuss with stuff.

As for clearos, I don't have any. I prefer carto tanks, Since I use flanged carts, they work on my MVP just fine.

Glassgal-- thanks!! Great to hear a firsthand comparison. If possible- can you show me pics of the MVPv2 vs. Provari sizes with the same tank on the top of each?

Ok, just for you, I shot a matched set of tanks so you can see the height :) - MVP2, Provari Mini, Provari Standard ... 2 of which came out of the kiln today.

Yes, they are huge tanks, wider than the Provari. They are designed to have a glass sleeve fit over the Provari and lock on the unit with the head. I'm kidding, but it would work:).
