Decided to try something a bit different, and thought I would share.

Still being kind of new to vaping I thought the new members forum was probably the best place for this.

My vape has been evolving since I quit smoking.
iTaste MVP with clearomizers to eGos with Kanger style tanks to mechanical mods, and Kayfuns, and RDAs which is where I am at now.

Was recoiling a couple of my rigs with twisted 32 gauge micro coils (8 wrap micro coils at 1.1-1.2Ohms) and had some twisted 32 gauge left over.
I have played around a bit with different styles of coils (Nano Dragon, Clapton, etc), and decided since I like the vape, and flavor I get from the twisted 32 gauge I would try wrapping a dual double diamond coil in a patriot clone RDA with the twisted 32.
Let the tails at the top form a 'cloud' of cotton right in the middle where I would be dripping.
Did 2 diamonds at 4 coils with 3 wraps per coil on a 1/16" drill bit for an ended Ohm reading of .85

Have to say I am liking it.
Great flavor. Not too hot. Good draws/drip ratio (8-10 drips for about 15-20 pulls). Good vapor production (not cloud chasing by any means but nice thick vapor).
Only drawback is it takes a second or two to warm up on a straight mechanical mod.

Some pics for you:

If you're into wrapping coils and dripping you might like this too.
Keep vaping :vapor:

I've tried the nano dragon a couple of times, but it was not my favorite. It is a little finicky to get it right, and I felt the wicking didn't keep up as well as I would like.

That's what surprised me most about the 22 gauge macro. I assumed that a .17 ohm dual coil build would run dry in a heart beat, but it really doesn't. I get more pulls from that than any of the other build I've tried to date and all the juice seems to get used up. When I do more of a cotton cloud type of wicking the juice gets sort of thick and it needs to be dripped again even when there's tons of juice still in there.

I will check it out.
Not interested in cloud chasing really, and that wasn't the purpose of this build.
Just an ex-smoker interested in playing around to give himself a better vape (flavor mainly but also nice draw, and decent vapor).

Letting this become kind of a hobby for me is a good thing IMHO. It keeps me off the cancer sticks but some of the videos I have seen on 'cloud chasing' is a bit more extreme than I want to get.
