After handling, talking with owners, and researching the smoktek ZMAX Rev 2 & the innokin Itaste SVD, I went with the Innokin SVD. Both units have a quality look and feel, and seem to be well built with quality materials. I actually looked at the Provari too, but,
I just can't see spending that kind of green for a unit that probably isn't that much better than either of these (JMHO...). Maybe, someday......but, I'm sure I'll be more than happy with my purchase.
The ECF library, and posts by veteran users helped a great deal, and answered a lot of questions I would probably have had, if not for this preparation and experience here at ECF. Several sites try to get over $100 bucks for the SVD, and other sites sell similar sounding equipment (SVD mod) that don't include everything needed.
I went with a vendor that had a good variety of equipment, had a nice site that was informative and laid out well, and was well established (plus being on ECF's list). (Plus, the price, of course
