I'd be open to splitting the game... doing 6 in the "morning" and 6 in the late afternoon...

I was just kidding personally. Sounds to me like more hassle than it would be worth. Though my opinion may change once I become employed again and determine internet accessibility.

Oh and, Howdy Clowderfolk!

I think it makes more sense to start it at different times each week. You could get double announcements in the Contests thread --

This week the Flavor Games will start at (approximately) xx AM (or PM). Keep your eye on http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...rum/293392-deejstuff-here-part-three-463.html for the link (or watch for an update here) when the game actually starts.

Then the link to the thread when they do start.

:2c:

I think this suggestion makes a lot of sense.

Finally got my shipment of Chinese hardware from Fasttech. I usually just order 1 or 2 of an item to try it out, then if I like it I order more.

One of the items I'm really liking is the eGo-V v2 Mega Variable Voltage 1300mAh Rechargeable Battery,

I tried it's predecessor, the Ego VV and found it quite lacking. It used to sell here in the states for around $30-35, I'm glad I didn't pay that much for it ($15 from FT). The cuttoff was too short for my likings, the button was almost impossible to find by feel, and I found the battery indicator to be way off both on charging and discharging. Plus it didn't work as a passthrough.

The newer version above seems to have been greatly improved. It's got a real eGO style button now, nice long cutoff, and can be used as a passthrough when charging. Haven't had it long, but the battery indicator seems much more accurate. The LCD voltage readout / battery indicator is a little dimmer on the new ones, but still easily readable so I'm calling it a plus.

Seems they've went and fixed every one of my gripes with the old style. And they're only $19.89 for the 1300mah.

I'm also liking the EGO-C Twist 1300mAh Variable Voltage Rechargeable Battery. The adjustment knob seems a little loose, but I've seen that on others as well. It's also got a nice long cutoff. Only $14.27.

I also tried what they call their T4's. It's basically a Kanger T3S but you can use your own drip tips with it. Wasn't real impressed with the original head that came with it. But when I put in a genuine Kanger head the vapor and flavor really improved, and is giving the evod a run for it's money. Plus it holds 2.5ml which is a nice little bump over the evods.

Just know ahead of time if you order anything from them, be prepared to wait up to a month for your package. They've been having issues lately getting batteries out through Hong Kong. So they've been sending things through Singapore and other places but it hasn't helped with the delay.

My first shipment from them only took 2 weeks. This, my 2nd, took almost exactly 30 days to arrive. But the savings can be worth the wait.

Never buy anything from China that you need soon. Part of what you are paying domestic vendors for is that they've already gotten the stuff through customs.

My very first order was from EastMall at the beginning of December. I paid $15 shipping to get it fast and they shipped right away but not only did it have the usual "from China" delays, it was part of the pre-Christmas rush. It still took 3 weeks.

I'm happy with most of the stuff I just got from Fasttech. I'm preferring the 1100 mAh version of the Twist to the 1300mAh -- longer and skinnier. And I got a couple of high mAh non-VV eGos and an Evod clone that I'm very happy with. For some reason, I tend to stay at the lowest voltage with eGos so I might go back to them for everything but RDAs. (The Twists have short circuit protection.)

Don't forget, when dealing with Fasttech, that there is still a language barrier -- no matter how well the person you are dealing with seems to speak English. I ordered a Purple Bolt (clone, of course) to see if a fat tube would work for me if it were really light. (Empty, it weighs about half what a Chuck does.) I got an e-mail saying it was shipping separately. Then nothing. I waited a week or so, then submitted a ticket. Here's the exchange:

Me, 11 days ago:
When will the Bolt (1432605) be shipped? I placed the order on October 7 (3 weeks ago.) The rest of the items have been received and work well. This one items has not been mailed yet.

Thank you.

Fasttech, 9 days ago:
Sorry about this.

The bolt (1432605) is temporarily sold out and waiting for restock. We are waiting for the response from our supplier and we cannot provide an exact restock time now.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Me, 9 days ago:
If you have it in another color, I would be willing to get that instead.
First choice Fuchsia (SKU 1432604)
Second choice Red (SKU 1432603)

Fasttech, 6 days ago:
Sorry about the wait.

Both of them are in a status (shipped in 3 business days). Would you like us to amend your order?

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with.

Me, 6 days ago:
Yes, please amend my order and send Fuchsia

Fasttech, 6 days ago:
Thank you for your order.

We have cancelled SKU 1432605 and added SKU 1432604 instead.

Please feel free to write us whenever you have questions. We're always here to help.

It shipped 2 days later.

I'd love to know what in my reply 9 days ago was ambiguous.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On to more important things.
Fig Cheesecake is still rocking my world.
Caramel Macchiato has won the coffee war -- I find it more nuanced than the Tiramisu. But I shall still finish the Tiramisu I have in the apartment. It didn't lose by much. It's still a very, very tasty vape.
Was at the pharmacy drive through the other day and got a weird look when the pharmacist saw me vaping. So I had a nice little conversation with him explaining the basics of what it's all about. That's when I came up with this little gem I thought I'd share:
"The upside is that it's so much like real smoking that it really helps a lot of people quit cigarettes.
The downside is that it's so much like real smoking that it carries a lot of the same stigma."
That's brilliant! So stealing that. :D
<insert witty segue way here>
