I dug into one of my mixed orders 12 days after the "born on" date. Some were ready to rock, I think a couple others could use a little more time.
The Buttered Popcorn blew me away. It's SO addictive it should maybe have a warning label. It almost seems too buttery (almost). But I think it still may get even a lttle better with time.
Blueberry & Cream I think needs more time. At first I could only taste the blueberry and not really any creaminess. And that was only if I turned the voltage way down. If I had the volts where I normally do, I couldn't taste much of anything. After being tanked now for a few days, the blueberry is coming through at normal voltage settings and I believe there may be some creaminess and sweetness starting to sneak in. It is a very good blueberry flavor btw.
Pina Colada rocked after 12 days and would prolly be good right out of the mailbox. Very nicely balanced between the pineapple and coconut.
The Waffles! is very good, may get better with time. I'm thinking I might need to up the flavor a little for my own tastes. But first I'll have to check out the Bavarian Waffles once available.
Bear in mind my tastebuds are a little weird. There's a couple flavorings Deej uses that I can't seem to taste at all. This could greatly affect my perceptions of some of Deej's recipes. For example, I'm cuckoo for
cocoa the NY Cheesecake. When I taste it all I get is a very sweet smooth cream cheese flavor with a hint once in a while of a graham crust. Everyone else (normal people) when I let them taste it, the very first thing they say is "graham".
Oddly some of the flavors I have trouble tasting from Deej, I can taste OK from others. So I think it might come down to the flavor manufacturer and what chemicals they use to imitate the natural flavors.
Edit: Oh and that's just the 1st 4 I tried in my 1st order of 9 flavors from the sale. I've got another order of 15 on the way.
