For your very first Ecigarette, which did you decide on and why? Secondly, have you stayed with one over the other. Thoughts?

Personally, my first one purchased was a Smartfixx (Generic in my book). Loved it. Gave me no issues, ending up selling it because I thought I was allergic to PG. Come to find out, I'm only allergic to high concentrations.

Since then, I have stuck with Generics. No Designer purchased yet.

Hmm. Ordered branded kit (all from overseas), got the .... with hanging about and bagged a cheeky cheapo from a local supplier. So I ordered the brand-name first but my first e-puff was from a generic.

See? This is why I hate polls! No good to us pedants. I'll just stick a pin in the screen...

The cheaky cheapo is still going strong, but it's a bit like my broom. Not sure where the original batts and atomiser are. Could be in the graveyard. However, that generic penstyle model is my highest use device at the moment (mostly cos I'm dripping, and I'm not doing that with the branded ones yet).

Don't want to split the topic, but a decent corollary might be does anyone drip branded kit?

Gamucci? Their videos are kinda flash! They are generics and overpriced carts maybe? I considered a gamucci before finding this forum and thanks to great advice, a generic is serving me very, very well

Generic Mini, followed by generic DSE101 (useless), then RN4081 (brilliant) and generic Penstyle (also good but yukky tasting cartridges).

TBH can't really afford to spend a vast amount on a brand name at the moment. Maybe in the future when e-cigs advance a bit and come down in price.

Is Gamucci actually branded? or just a generic in a gamucci box?

Well, they seem to be stamped with gamucci... I never purchased one (my first e-cig is the one I been bumbling on about from smokester, which should arrive tomorrow), I stumbled upon this e-cig thing while googling randoms regarding stopping smoking. One of the first e-cigs I found was the gamucci. And yes the adverts are very flash and there website is pretty slick as well.

the people who make em have an oem option.. sticking your chosen name on a generic cig or anything is standard practice.. it dosnt mean that much.. several different names could all come from the same place.. the one big chinese factory isnt true but it nearly is.. names mean little now a days..

the UK pillbox told me the gamucci is made by the same factory that make the generic he sells.. blue lite i would guess.. finding out who actually makes these things is nigh on impossible..

I feel actually most of the stuffs is from china be it designer brand or generic

at first I want to buy ruyan ..but is freaking expensive .
so in the end buy from ebay seller.

ruyan also from china and do note china is good in copy pirated stuffs

Similar to mine. My first one purchased was a 101 super mini from Heaven_Gifts. But while waiting, I found E-cig.ciom, ordered a e-cigarillo and that got to me first. I count it as my first, it won the race, it deserves the ribbon.

gamucci is look like the one I brought ..white colour penstyle but performance wise I not sure is it the same

why I know because I happen to see in youtube if I remb is white colour penstyle mouth piece is either white or black

Really, that's all a branded unit is. Large orders can be custom packaged, have logos emblazoned, custom colors, etc. One would expect that for those larger orders, they ought to take a closer hand in ensuring product specs are met, but there's really no telling.

With the exception of course of Janty, Loong Totem, and GreenCig, who do their own manufacturing. Although I'm not sure about GreenCig.
