Alright - so I've searched, because I know I've seen another thread about a possessed diamond battery, but I can't find it...
My lovely purple/white VT1002 XL has apparently decided that it doesn't want to play nice anymore. It was working fine until I plugged it into the new slim charger - as soon as I took it off it started flashing intermittently and won't vape. When I put a carto on and drag, the led lights up, but I get no vapor, just a strange metallic taste and the battery itself gets hot very quickly. Then it flashes 3 times... and a few minutes later it will flash 3 times again... and so on until it cools off.
I tried resetting the post (thanks Morandir) but nothing happened. I only used it for about a week before this, in rotation with about 5 other batts. Full disclosure - I do fill my own, but I'm *very* careful about making sure the carto is dry, with no juice in the air tube, and I have yet to kill any other autos (especially this quickly).
Any suggestions? Do these symptoms sound like a juice leak? What else can I try to revive her?
Thanks,
~krashnash

I do know that after my incident, I was too afraid to put it on a charger again....filled out a ticket and got it replaced. I don't know what caused it, but right outta the package it went to the charger to top off the charge if it needed it. Charger still works, but the batt was done
