Alright - so I've searched, because I know I've seen another thread about a possessed diamond battery, but I can't find it...
My lovely purple/white VT1002 XL has apparently decided that it doesn't want to play nice anymore. It was working fine until I plugged it into the new slim charger - as soon as I took it off it started flashing intermittently and won't vape. When I put a carto on and drag, the led lights up, but I get no vapor, just a strange metallic taste and the battery itself gets hot very quickly. Then it flashes 3 times... and a few minutes later it will flash 3 times again... and so on until it cools off.
I tried resetting the post (thanks Morandir) but nothing happened. I only used it for about a week before this, in rotation with about 5 other batts. Full disclosure - I do fill my own, but I'm *very* careful about making sure the carto is dry, with no juice in the air tube, and I have yet to kill any other autos (especially this quickly).
Any suggestions? Do these symptoms sound like a juice leak? What else can I try to revive her?
Thanks,
~krashnash
