Definitely tiny in that pic, shorter battery life though.
Now the dicodes chip in an XvoStick, I'd buy that in a heartbeat! lol

LOL — you should contact Chels and talk him into it. I was one of the more fortunate and my Xvo arrived without issue. I really like it and wouldn’t mind another side-by-side similar in size to the Xvo.

As far as the Dani, is it finnicky as I am not good with having to play around with a mod to get it to work correctly? I noticed something about it being AC and not DC so not sure what the impact would be to me being in the US. If you don’t mind my asking and assuming you are in AU, did you purchase your Dani in AU? I was in your country this past summer for five weeks and the exchange rate was extremely good for me. Vaping however was not very friendly :)

Chels probably has enough work to do already trying to keep up with current demands without adding more workload. lol

Well the Dani has a lot of options... but once you've experimented and worked out how you like things set you really only have to mess with it when you change a coil. Now that I have things settled for how I like my vape (Ti wire with temp control) I only really have to reset the initial resistance if I make a new coil. Not that I really need to, I'm pretty much spot on 0.18 ohms every time.
Of course if you change attys a lot, you'll possibly have more things to change.
I'm sure others with more time spent using a Dani can chime in here.

I bought mine from the UK actually, had other stuff I wanted from the same store. :)

Yeah vaping still hasn't gained enough positive traction here, and knowing our government it won't get any easier with time.

I'd like to hear more about the AC not DC part. Recently I metered a firing atty with TC wire to see if "Power Boost" worked in temp mode and measured DC voltage from it. Mine is a 2380. I recall hearing something about an AC mod but don't quite remember. Someone chime in please.

This is greek to me but will make sense to you no doubt: Dani from dicodes, what chip is in there? Updated nivel?

@drugarth - Did you have any issues making connection between the Dani and the Kabuki?

@TheotherSteveS : yes I have tried them (the Vaporshark ones, both in the Nautilus and in the Kabuki) and I think they are OK.
It's just that I don't find them better than the normal Kanthal ones, they are about the same, so I have stopped using them as they are more expensive.

I am seriously considering pulling the trigger for the Dani Extreme V2+ 18350. I did look at the manual and an engineer must have written it because it is extremely technical for someone like me that subscribes to KISS. If I just want to change the wattage, how easy/complex is this to do? I currently change my wattage on a regular basis and this is easy to do with an up or down button with my current mods. I will not be using temp control so will use it in normal mode. In normal mode does the battery life show in the digital display and if it does, is it a gauge/meter or does it show in remaining volts? As far as leaving the mod in the on or off position, what is everyone doing? I have never turned off a VV/VW mod and I just leave it on so do not know what the best practice is with the Dani. It has been a while since I used a menu and it was a very simple one with the Provari 2.5. Any quirks or issues that I need to be aware of? Thanks in advance for any input any one can provide.

Download the manual, if like my 2380, you need to memorize the order. You can adjust how long it will stay idle before shutting off on mine.

Probably very similar

to change the wattage you go into the menu by clicking the button X times....go to the wattage up or down setting (separate menu items) and click the button till your preffered wattage....not that complicated.
You can't actually shutdown the device...you set a shutdown time, after which it shutdown by itself. You can also set a separate time for the screen. Find it pretty easy.

It does take some getting used to, but if you just stick with just main functions I find it not that complicated. It's just that the single button system takes some getting used to.
