I am seriously considering pulling the trigger for the Dani Extreme V2+ 18350. I did look at the manual and an engineer must have written it because it is extremely technical for someone like me that subscribes to KISS. If I just want to change the wattage, how easy/complex is this to do? I currently change my wattage on a regular basis and this is easy to do with an up or down button with my current mods. I will not be using temp control so will use it in normal mode. In normal mode does the battery life show in the digital display and if it does, is it a gauge/meter or does it show in remaining volts? As far as leaving the mod in the on or off position, what is everyone doing? I have never turned off a VV/VW mod and I just leave it on so do not know what the best practice is with the Dani. It has been a while since I used a menu and it was a very simple one with the Provari 2.5. Any quirks or issues that I need to be aware of? Thanks in advance for any input any one can provide.

Actually, its pretty easy. When set as default it is: 3 clicks to get into menu and then you can immediately set power up or 1 another click and you can set power down. Wait few seconds when it shuts screen off and you are ready to vape. Simple as that.

have you tried the Ni200 BVCs in the kabuki?? I heard they suck in the nautilus...

I have tried the VS temp control Nautilus coils in my Kabuki and concur with what drugarth said. This was using my rDNA40.

Download the manual, if like my 2380, you need to memorize the order. You can adjust how long it will stay idle before shutting off on mine.

Probably very similar

I did watch the PBusardo video last night up to temp control. Very benefcial for someone like me and I liked that he interpreted the manual which made it easier for me to understand. I can see that if I buy the Dani I will be using some of the other features since I understand it better now. Thanks for providing this.

to change the wattage you go into the menu by clicking the button X times....go to the wattage up or down setting (separate menu items) and click the button till your preffered wattage....not that complicated.
You can't actually shutdown the device...you set a shutdown time, after which it shutdown by itself. You can also set a separate time for the screen. Find it pretty easy.

It does take some getting used to, but if you just stick with just main functions I find it not that complicated. It's just that the single button system takes some getting used to.

The one comment Busardo made at the beginning of the video was being able to tune for flavor. Since the Kabuki claims improved flavor, did you find the flavor the same or better on the Dani using the Kabuki?

Thank you for this.

Extreme V2+.

I purchased it from Crème De Vape and I can’t say enough about their outstanding service. They went beyond excellency and offered to change the settings if I provided them. I couldn’t turn this down so watched the Busardo video again up to temp control. I was also pleasantly surprised about the price as the price shown on their website included VAT (which I was not aware of) and when I added it to my shopping cart it dropped by 20% since I am not in an EU country. When I purchased my Xvo I nervously awaited it and with the Dani I am so excited to receive it that I can't keep my eyes off of tracking. It was dispatched on Friday and arrived at LAX very early this morning. Should have it maybe mid-week to latter part of week depending on customs.

extreme, extreme v2 or extreme v2+??

I asked because the extreme is not a TC mod and the V2 is TC but has a fixed 510 pin (which I dont like...). Keith and Lisa at CDV are brilliant and will sort you out!!

Anyone using the Diodes Extreme V2+ with an 18350 battery, I am looking for suggestions. It has been a long time since I used a mod with 18350s so I would like to buy some new ones. As you can image the choices are limited to AW, eFest and Tenai. I have basically crossed eFest off my list which leaves AW and Tenai. The AW is 800 mah, 12 amps whereas the Tenai is 700 mah, 14 amps. Which one would be the better choice or does it matter? Anyone try the Tenai? If so, thoughts? Thanks.

I have Extreme v2+ "S". Have both of the batteries, but AW gives a bit longer battery life. Rest isn't so important, electronics do their job. Have tried AW, Efest, Tensai and found AW works best.

I got the Tensai, but only because my dedicated battery shop didn't stock the AW flattops....if a choice I would also go for the AW ones. That being said, I have no issues with the tensai's they get me through my work day just fine (actually 2 days, but I don't vape all that much at work :)

I source my Kabuki's from Cremedevape, and it is indeed a great shop, quick to reply and quick delivery.

I received my Dani Extreme V2+ yesterday. Fast delivery — dispatched on Friday and I received yesterday (Tuesday). Since CDV had set it up for me I was able to give it a try immediately. All I can say is AWESOME!!! I really like it so far and so good to have a silver tube mod again. I may change some of the settings once I have used it for a while. I have never bought a mod sleeve and I am thinking I may need to consider this as I think it will show scratch marks easily as I tend to put my mods in my purse when I go out. I may need to check out Parish.

I am seriously thinking about buying another 510 Kabuki as I have a feeling once the inventory is gone, the only version that will be availabe is the P3. I know eventually there will be a P3 to 510 adapter but……

Glad you like it! I think it's a wonderfull device, one of the best Mods out there.
I just recevied my second Dani extreme, it's a V2 small version I bought at the classifieds, with a 18650 extension tube.....it's still in excellent shape, I don't think they scratch that easy, and a sleeve will ruin it's good looks :D But if your worried go for it! I'll take my chances, hope I won't regret it :D
Despite that the V2 doesn't have a springloaded pin the Kabuki sits flush....that had me worried, so very glad it does.

I don't think the 510 Kabuki will go very soon, they seem to sell quite well, but if they do: don't buy all the stock at Cremedevape!...I need to order one, but have to wait till the SS tanks get back in stock....would hate to see that when they finally get back in stock the Kabuki's will be sold out, LOL ;):)

You know you can get the 510 upgraded for <40 eur! I think they do a fw upgrade if needed also!

Yes I saw that!....And I am seriously thinking about it, but it will mostly be used with the Kabuki tank, and that one sits flush....and I think the only other things, besides the spring loaded centerpin, in the update are some extra preset TCR's....not sure if I want to go through the hassle of sending it to Germany for that.....
I think I'll give it a spin for a few weeks and if I miss things compared to my V2+ I'll do the update.

ooh wait: I'll also use it with the goblin mini, I'll check that tonight...aah hell I'll check all my tanks :D

Just heard from a local shop owner (only official Dicodes dealer in my country): the dicodes box will be announced pretty soon....and it seems it will be at a lower price point than we are used from them....can't wait!

edit: looked up some pictures of the prototype....and not sure if I like the looks...
