@drugarth — I thought I would let you know the final outcome on my Kabuki-Dani saga. Dicodes wanted me to make a before and after video. They also said they would send me a new Dani however I needed to return what I had which is fair. However between the videos and sending a package this time of the year with everyone mailing Christmas presents I was not interested in standing in long lines at the post office. Lo and behold I received an email from Stacie saying she is sending me a new base to test. It has an unadjustable pin and the Dani now adjusts itself. I received it yesterday and it works perfect with the Dani plus on my rDNA40, Xvostick and Provari 2.5 so different types of 510 connections. I no longer have to use an allen wrench for adjustments which I really like. Next year I will check with HoH about modifying all of my bases so I hope they will do this. Zen is busy working on the Triton solution so I don’t dare ask right now. HoH is just awesome. Thanks for all of your assistance throughout.

Really great news it's now all working the way it should! Also great to hear the companies are willing to step up....yes HOH has great customer services...they also replaced one of my topcaps for free when I wrecked it through my own fault, that's service!
Interesting thing about a fixed 510 pin...might want one myself But indeed not bothering Zen at the moment, hope he is busy on the Triton solution....that would be awesome too

I'm thinking of shipping my V2 to get it upgraded to a V2+, as although my Kabuki's sit flush, my Goblin mini's don't, so I can only use those on my V2+, so better to upgrade my V2 also I'm thinking. Got some reports from the dutch forum on the upgrade and it's really fast, once recieved they return it the same day. But think I'll better wait till after the Christmas rush

I send a request for an upgrade of my Extreme v2 to V2+ two weeks ago, I still haven't received a reponse (except an automated response that they recieved the request). Any else know what the normal response time is? (could ofcourse also be due to the holidays or the release of the Dani boxes), but just wondering.

@drugarth - It is not a fixed pin. If I screw the coil too tight, the insulator and pin does move outward so I would actually prefer a true fixed pin because of this.

Dont forget the 2380 is 23mm diameter!! Did you mean the Dani extreme. In that case you need the V2 (fixed 510) or V2+ (floating 510). Both are 22mm diam.

I just saw the two box mods are in stock I really want one but I honk I need to sell my week old Heron v2 and paps v4(HnP) setup and a couple kabuki tanks as well as a few other things before I buy anything else. Being so laid up is a bummer. I really have to watch the vape budget. Right now I have a few things.

Are you planning on getting one ? I have a m class I just bought gently used and a boxer for the two high end mods. I wonder how their two new mods compare to that. They both look pretty big which is kind of a bummer.

Also on the list of things I'd like to try is the cloud one atomizer. Which would paired well with new box mods but between them that's $400 or so. Yikes.

CdV have them in now in blue/green and red. Titan sold out already so I'm out of the game on that one. I have another possibility to get one but will have to wait for stock. I just got the boxer 75W 26650 with the ML chip but will have to send that back to get the 510 replaced which is a pita.

Do you mean the yihi mods are big?? The ML looks about the same as the M-class and who knows about the 450Q or whatever its called. That's dual 18650 I think so will be a big one. If you mean the dicodes, I think they are pretty compact, even the 26650.

Just wondering why you are selling the Heron/paps. I have the Heron v2 and really like it. I'm thinking it will really rock in filler/spheroid mode but I havent tried it yet!

Didn't get a chance to play much with the dev2+ today. Love the size and build quality!

I built a 0.5ish ohm spaced coil with the resistherm wire. Put it on TC mode and temp at 450-480C and 40w. I am getting a faint flavour with it. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here as this is my first jump into TC. The readout is about 18w after a hit. I am using a juice which I know the flavour of, but just not getting it. I may swap the tank to my DNA200 to see if it's just my build.

Doesnt look weird really. Not so much advantage of 2380 over the V2+ to be honest unless yoiu have a lot of 23mm atties. You can buy the short V2+ version and get extra tubes for 18350, 18500 etc. The dual 18650 mode of the 2380T is pretty nuts really...

Guys, I noticed 1 of my v2+ is reading resistance short of 0.2ohm. On a 6 wrap 2.4 mm kanthal, it reads 1.0 ohm while ohm reader, provari p3 and my other v2+ reads 1.2ohm. Anyway to fix this issue?

My 2380 was giving me "low battery" prematurely I figured. Showed 3.9 v unloaded and 2.5 loaded. This is running SS430 around 4Ω @ 38 watts. Thought maybe the battery took a dump so before changing the battery I pulled out the spring from the end cap and cleaned the area where the spring sits, that was it. Put the same battery back in and continued to use it, no "low battery as yet.
I never did like that spring set up too much anyway.
