Did my new cartomizer die??

I just got my new box of 510 carto's about 5 minutes ago.

I did the carto-cap-filler-method, put in about 15 drops of Atomic Cinnacide...

I got massive vapor and great flavor for the first 5-6 puffs, now I am getting absolutely no vapor.

Any ideas?

Possibly flooded or something?

What do I do?

If you have a multimeter, try testing the continuity by putting one lead on the center post, and the other on the threads, and take a resistance reading

Hey there!

Are you getting any signs of life? A sound of it firing, the carto warming up, anything?

If you are, try taking it off the battery, and blowing through it. Hold a tissue to the threaded ends - you may get liquid out. If it sounds gurgly while you're doing this, then yes, it probably is flooded.

If there are no signs of life... it may well be dead.

johnny - I've been at this for months, and I don't even have a multimeter. There are simpler ways...

Also make sure to see if your battery is dead.

Librarising makes a good point, be sure your batt is working as well.

If it really is dead... well, it happens. Sometimes stuff just doesn't work right. But you may be able to save some of the juice.

Put a carto condom (one of those things that comes over the end of a carto to keep the juice in) on the end, but don't push it all the way down. Leave room in the bottom.

Now, put it a little bag or something, with the carto condom facing down, and tie a rubber band or a hair band around it in the bag, so it stays in the upright position in the bag.

And spin it aound in a circle. Fast.

You may find that some of the juice comes out the bottom, and is now sitting in the bottom of the carto condom. Transfer to your next carto.

On the batty end of carto, make sure the center post is sticking out further than the threads. If it was barely making contact, it might have fired a couple of times then quit because of bad contact. I've never had a carto pop on me. the few times I thought one had, it was because I had pushed the center post in a little while trying to clean the end.

Yeah, that center post is really the issue most of the time. Make that puppy come back down a bit and they generally come back to life.

Awesome, I'll try to figure out what exactly to do (I am very much a noob at this, no idea what a 'post' is or anything.. ).

I am happy to hear there's hope for the little fella lol.

it happened again on the new one !! Someone please explain exactly what to do to fix it please? I am seriously getting furious
