The first six months I vaped, I increased from 6mg, to 8mg, 9mg, and finally 10mg, where I've stayed till just recently when I got an
rda that gives such terrific TH, I've gone back to 9mg. I'm still in the process of weaning off WTA, so I have no plans to change the nic level until I'm free of the WTA.
During the coldest months this winter, I may try decreasing to about 5mg to see if it helps any with my terribly cold hands and feet; I started in the winter, at 6mg, and almost as soon as I laid down the smokes, I noticed my hands and feet weren't so cold, but this past winter I was at 10mg, and they were as cold as ever they were when I smoked; I've cut down my caffeine pretty drastically, so that only leaves the nicotine as the possible culprit.
Considering that my gene pool contains both "ordinary" geriatric dementia and Alzheimers, I have no plans to ever go completely nic-free.
