And by the way, let's hear it for all my fellow gadget people.

I really do think the vaping gear is part of the awesome. They are a lot cooler than cigarettes and even though I love a good zippo, they are even cooler than that. I have learned how to take my little coil assembly heads apart and replace the wicks and as soon as I have an ohm meter I plan to re-build all my own coils too.

Oh lord, when you start rebuilding and get a dripper its sooooo on!! There is nothing like inhaling and blowing out a huge cloud to prove your build works perfectly!

I'm another accidental/incidental stopper of smoking. My husband said "Why don't we try those and see what happens?"

I no longer smoke, but I think he's actually smoking more. He just can't get into vaping.

Just wait till he hits the right flavor/nic level combo... that's what did diy for me. When you get to diy and blend it all your way it all falls into place, and no more waiting on vape mail or being out of anything!!

I have been smoke free for 11 days now.
I didn't want to give up. I enjoyed my cigarettes. I loved my smoke.
I did think though whats all the fuss with the vaping malarky then? I knew I should give up but just never wanted to.
So, I ordered and ego and an evod and 10ml of liquid. Nothing ventured and nothing gained. Lets see what the fuss is all about.
So I puffed away and thought, well this is weird but not too bad. I found that I wasn't craving the fags either too.
Then my battery went flat and I panicked. I ended smoking my last 4 cigarettes!! But when my battery was charged again I did say to myself, if I don't let my battery go flat again lets see how long I can go without buying cigarettes.
That was 11 days ago...................still no ciggies in my possession and enjoying vaping more than smoking!!!!! Gosh I never expected that!!!!

What about you?

First off congratulations, It took me a while to completely get rid of analogs in my life, but once I did, everything in life became that much better. I truly enjoyed analogs as well, but as of late I prefer my juice to any analog. On e you find flavors that suite you, there is no going back, every analog taste like crap after you find a juice and nic level that Is perfect for you. Good luck and keep on vaping.

Did e-cigs help you to quit smoking traditional cigs.?

Yes. I was a pack a day smoker for over 20 years. Been vaping and have not looked back. I have no reason to ever smoke again. I get all the pleasure I used to get with smoking in my vape. Best thing to ever happen to me!

:vapor:

My husband and I quit on purpose. I had gotten to the point that I hated it. The smell was awful. The taste was awful. I hated that I always had to worry about stopping to buy more. It didn't help that EVERYONE around us either didn't smoke at all or had quit smoking for various reason. Oddly enough the more I hated it, the more I smoked. We had tried to quit smoking before but nothing ever worked.
So one night after work we both said lets give this vape thing a shot. We knew that if we didn't go buy something right then and there that we would never quit. So we went to the nearest vape shop, paid double what we would have online, and have not smoked a single cigarette since then.
It has only been 9 days so far and it has been so very easy compared to every other time we tried to stop. We used tosmoke 3 packs per day combined for 20 plus years.

wow, yes, all true. I quit because I caught one of the 10 virus's going around this season. The one that lasts 3 months and goes straight to your chest.
2 packs a day, for 35 years.
I still loved it, all of it. I never had a smokers cough etc, but the illness almost took my life. I experienced true asthma for the first time in my life. I was in the hospital, awful. I quit that day. I probably smoked as soon as I got released, but I went straight to the smoke shop and have been vaping ever since. I cannot believe how super easy simple it was. I thought for the past 35 years that I would NEVER succeed at quitting; until VAPE !!!

All I can hope now is that the disgusting government keeps their sick and twisted hands out of our vaping lives.

I have know for a long time I needed to quit-Lost a dear family member to lung cancer at 47-slow and painful, did not wanna go there
Got me some nasty ones that look like real cigs-and was like yuck no way, then a wonderful lady at the smoke shop showed me a vape kit and told me about e juice-and now I am a happy camper!

I'd quit smoking regularly about a year ago, but still did socially up until last September.
I was introduced by my younger brother to vaping around then with an ego-t starter kit and some juices and haven't wanted a ciggie since, even when out. It's nice to go out and not have your hands reeking of tobacco and what not, even if my clothes have the smell of others' smoke.

The hobby side is a plus, slowly getting into the rebuildable side of things, with a couple rda and such.

I had no intention of quitting. I quite liked smoking actually.

I tried an ecig just out of curiosity and it was immediately so clean tasting and wonderful that I never touched another analog. The weird part is that looking back, it was probably the worst first one I could have tried and I still loved it right away.
