I agree that Iken's products are so very confusing... I hope the new website provides more information on each product.

Let's see if I can't shed some light on the subject. Don't quote me I am old :lol: but this is what I remember.

Let me tell you a story about a man named Jed. Oooops wrong story. A man named Isaac....

It all started out with the Platinum, which evolved into the Platinum V2.

Then came the Gold and some time later the Gold V2.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ikenvape/141429-comparative-ikenvape-carto-review.html

Some of these cartos are no longer being made for various reasons. e.g the 510 Premium HV which was designed for HV vaping but failed. A good carto, but didn't meet design specs (to be vaped at 5V +)

Legend...

STD = standard
LR = low resistance
XLR = extra low resistance
MEGA or XL = extra long (holds more juice)
DC = dual coil
Single coil = DC principle but in a single e.g instead of 2 x 3.2Ohm coils = 1 x 1.6Ohm coil
Fusion = an XL 510 case with a native 801 thread (primarly developed for buzz folks (original buzz = 801 native conenctor(preferred atty by drippers, especially HV))

KR8s = self explanatory

901s self explanatory

Atties self explanatory - OTOH the hybrid = IO6. A 306 atty in a 510 body. The closest thing to a real analog. In order to tweak the 306 to where he wanted to go, Isaac (under advice from his engineers) had to go to a 510 body. The rest is history.

Between stealth and stainless, not sure of the name??? all they are are powder coated vice a paint job (they are wonderful to tail pipe). There is no difference in performance over a stainless. All "black" atties are powder coated these days vice the cheap paint job, that is the extra mile IKV goes for his customers. Some folks claim that thereis a difference between the stealth and stainless. I am terribly sorry to inform these folks but this is a figment of their imagination - a paint job does not change performance, but there could be a difference in the atty itself (remember they are all built by hand).

That about sums it up. I hope it helped :)

as a hopefully soon to be ex-boge LR user, I also was curious about this when browsing the new site. Soooo many different cartos. Excited to try the new 306 attys.

LR in Isaac's world is 1.8 and XLR = 1.5

When the 510 came out STD at 2.2 it was considered LR (standard was 3.0-3.5) So if we use history...

2.0 = XLR
1.8 = XXLR
1.5 = XXXLR
