Yeah, it would, but, I still think that some of the problems were due to not changing out worn tooling. We will see, as time goes by. Simply tightening up the 510 and center post is too easy of a fix, but, is totally plausible as the main culprit here as it would be so easy to not do correctly on the assembly line for tired, underpaid, under trained, unskilled workers that may or may not care about anything except collecting their next pay check. It's a thought at least.

I was a little surprised when I found the 510 a little lose. It's not seeping now and I have a 3mm coil in there. 0.5ohms. 6 wraps (if I remember correctly) SS316L.

It's a shame because just a couple little tweaks and it could have been a near perfect MTL tank.

Yeah, no kidd'in bob. They seem to have not known what they had and how to assemble it. That's sad.

I sure hope that what you did will work out for you. Now we learn what we need to do to get these Siren's up and running. Too late for a lot of folks out there, but for us, it's a blessing.

There`s little chance I could do a video as I don`t have a video camera ;)

Even my "photos" are very poor due to using a cheap 'burner' cellphone - it makes calls & text, nothing more, no internet = no tracking.

In other news, I had arrive today an Obs Nano, Cthulhu Mini, SRv4 and the Hussar - so I`m literally surrounded by bits and pieces and now have more tanks & mods on the go than is natural.

First impressions....none of them instantly made me think...."This is the best thing I`ve ever used"
I need to put it all away and watch a movie this evening - vaping overload for one day.

The SR v4 appears to be the one with most promise at the moment...early days though plus more testing needed.

I get the feeling that sometimes the manufactures just sort of "Fling Stuff at the Wall" to see what sticks, and go from there, ya know.

KD kooking method.

How true, with us being the guinea pigs.

Watch it, bbob! :D

Welp, I, for one, will be :pop:

Day 3 (or whatever) on my Atta-Boy Atta-Wick, and today's refill dropped a loverly globule of vliquid on my lap. :rolleyes:

Happy 4 22.

I just did my 2nd refill (3rd tank full) and everything's holding tight and dry. I've been using my Siren 22 mostly all the time since I have started this test with it.

Edit: My brother just came in from Texas this afternoon and will be here for a few weeks, so my time on here will be curtailed a little bit, but will pop in to update ya'll on my Siren 22's progress.

Sorry to hear that Kat. So far, mine (ours) is acting a whole lot better than it did when I first got it. It's still dry where it has to be dry, and wet where it has to be wet.

    Sorry if this question has been asked be for but what's the smallest I'd of a coil you can properly wick on this thing? And will the airflow handle semi restricted direct lung inhaled? I'm used to builds with 2mm I'd coils and above ohm builds in tanks like subtank minis, serpent minis and sxk wines. Just looking for a new rta to tinker with. Any recommendations would be helpful as a lot of the new stuff I see now are geared towards subohm. Thanks.

    It`s possible to use a 2mm ID coil - you would need to add a bit of extra wick material underneath the tails of your existing proper wick,
    (just where it lays in the wick holes) to pack it out a bit - to fill the wick holes adequately and prevent leaking.

    I prefer to use 3mm ID coils (always above ohm in Toptank Minis etc) and can squeeze enough rayon in there that just fills the wick holes without needing to add extra.

    I find adding extra bits a bit too fiddly....anything fiddly + vaping makes me irate, rather rapidly ;)

    [This is all whether you can locate a Siren that is, if you`re referring to a 22mm...25s are still available...just]

    ~~~
    As to the question of "semi restricted direct lung" - I am a relaxed MTL user only so can`t say what would be deemed acceptable for DTL whether loose or restricted to any degree....
    I would dare to say it`s restricted direct lung hit capable on the largest hole - it`s all relative though and one person`s 'loose' is another`s 'tight'
    It`s definitely NOT fully wide open like some things I have tried in the past with no restriction at all......
    it would take several seconds to do a full lung hit on the largest hole....that`s without sucking so hard like a demented vacuum cleaner.
    (Sucking too hard with restriction draws too much liquid into the coil and onto the deck - which I try and avoid)
    While the flash sale is on at gearbest I just got the second to last silver 25mm - there`s 12 black ones left.
    Whether they`ll add any more after the "extended" flash sale finishes remains to be seen,
    but they are slowly dwindling in supply everywhere, so I got another silver with store credit.
    I`d probably regret it further down the line if I didn`t - at least I`ll have the option not to use it, IF I have it rather than no option at all ;)
    Hello guys! I was just wondering of there are other spare tanks that would fit the 25mm siren? Broke my glass about a month ago and i'm now using the spare that came with it. Any answer/solution will be very much appreciated.
    I can't help you with this. I know the Kanger Subtank Mini replacement glass works on my 22 mm Siren, but I have no clue what might work on the 25 mm Siren.
    Hello all,
    I have a problem with my atomizer. For 3 months it worked perfect, but now it gives me dry hits after 4-5 puffs. Can you please give me an idea what can it be. Thank you
    Are you using a Digiflavor Siren? If so, which version -- the 22 mm or the 25 mm?
    like a demented vacuum cleaner
    Canna be a Dyson then, eh? ;)
    I'm curious too as to which atty you're using. For a general rule of thumb, dry hits are normally not enuf vlquid getting to the wick in a timely fashion. Too much wick? Too much power? What changed in your set up after 3 months? Did you change out the coil?
    I recently got a Shark rather than a Dyson - so many bad reports, the Shark is so efficient I can`t actually move it !
    I wonder if Ionutald is talking about a Siren ?
    It seems unusual to have that problem with so much wick - I didn`t think it would be physically possible to get a dry hit........let`s see
    I think the best option at this time for a spare Siren glass is to find a spare for a different existing device which uses a glass tank with the same dimensions.....3rd party spares are available on Fasttech for many things, it`s just finding one that is the same.
    I doubt it`s even possible to buy spares as they`ve effectively ceased production.
    Kickingthesticks - your only chance is to get a 25mm Siren now - even they`re starting to get thin on the ground, the 22s obviously sold out first being a more popular size....generally.
