Here's my 2¢, in Nov he ran a 100th post guess the random number contest. Many contributed - I eventually won said contest (48). http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...m/49108-100th-post-contest-20.html#post737492. He replied/pm'd got my info and the flavors I would like etc.. he did say 1 flavor wasn't ready and could I wait, sure no problem. A month passed pm'd him again, said he was busy with the new store. again cool. Pm'd again on the 12th, today is 2 months nada zip zilch. I don't want to sound like I'm .....ing but this was all his idea. I know I have no money tied up in this. I just find it amusing that he used this forum to promote his product and then continues to fail to back up his promises.

So he continues to rip people off and not fulfill orders. Doesnt really seem like much is changing with him. I find it funny that there is not even 1 post from him on this thread thats bashing the hell out of his company. lol

Not defending anyone.... But he may not be allowed to post here. Vendors are limited to where they are allowed to post on this forum.

This is good info to know especially from the 100th post winner... and I believe at the time he posted that he wasn't a "supplier" (but my memory could be off ;)) I am not going to defend or praise him, but I have been following his thread like the million others here... he seems like a good guy DV and I was going to purchase from him to help the kid out.

I do think that might be the issue he is a kid (20-info based on profile) and he might have just gotten in over his head with no intention to scam (I would like to hope so at least)

Its not an excuse just an observation. I truly hope everything gets smoothed out with all customers with issues.....

I would like to offer a piece of advice (at least what I do) the "new member turned supplier" are popping up all of the time and it is always best to pay attention to their interaction prior to the change over. Not saying a new supplier will be bad,,,, but it might be better to look into people that have spent time in the ecig consumer world prior to jumping into the business end of it.

If you didn't know there are tons of people asking about starting something here on ECF that just got there feet wet..... and though the idea sounds good some are just not prepared for the "mass publicity" that ECF can offer (i.e. member count) because just because one can start up a website (which he had problems at first) and get a product doesn't mean he has a clue on how to run a business.

if anyone remembers the short lived "vapestar"... will understand....

I am not trying to insult anyones intelligence, but it does pay to research

just my 1 cent worth... take it for what its worth

Hey all, not defending Dinosaur in any way. But I can say I was working on his new site for free. Dinosaur Vapor and I do know he wanted to receive credit cards but I was having problems. The store is setup for paypal or certain merchant services. He wanted me to get amazon to work which I have yet been able to accomplish. So that is the reasons for the money order. Not that he didn't WANT to take credit cards, just we haven't found a viable way for him to do so.

That I can say is reason for money orders versus credit cards. But as to the bad customer service and not receiving products unfortunately I cannot comment on this as I have not had any transactions with him other than designing his website. I can say I have been trying to get ahold of him for a couple days on Skype about his site with no replies. If he comes on, I will certainly inform him of everyones discontent. But maybe he has disappeared for good? I don't know. I'll try to get ahold of him for yal.

I see his account on here is now banned. Now leaves me wondering should I take down his dinosaurvapor.com site I did? I mean if he is an ... and not doing good to anyone and is now banned, maybe I should take it down. It's not like he paid me for designing and hosting it? Or should I wait to hear from him? What you all think?

I am going back and forth. One side, I did all the work for it, and it adds to my growing portfolio, but then on the flip side I don't want a site up if I know people are going to get screwed by it. But then maybe there is a good explanation? Member in his family died, or he presold without telling people and will make good? I'd hate to take site down if it's an honest mistake.

GRRRRR, any suggestions?

Hey Lint
I can appreciate your position but

If I was hosting his site it would be down. He can find hosting somewhere else.. I host many websites for people on my servers and If he was hosting with me, he'd be gone. Just my 02c. I dont want my name associated with him in any way.

Im sorry for someone dying in his family but there is no excuse for doing business the way he does..

I partially agree. If he was a paying customer I would say "It's his right to run his business however he wants. good or bad" it's not a reflection upon me for hosting it how he runs his business.

But as hosting it free, I don't know if I should hold myself to the same ethics. For example if you were hosting with me, and put racial slurs, and curse the president, and said life is horrible. I may not agree with any of it, but there is freedom of speech. And he does have the right to have it. His site really isn't a reflection on me. I did a job(though not paid for it) and not my fault. But yet if there was a pit of thorns I'd like to tell you before falling into them.

So part of me wants to take it down ust so others don't fall into the pit, but the other part of me thinks professionally he got his site (regardless of monetary exchange) and it is on him how he represents him. It is not my place to rule how he does/doesn't run his business.

So it's a moral/ethical dilemma. I think I will give him one week to reply to me as to the ethics of it. If no reply, I can take it down. Or better yet, just leave a mesage stating "No longer taking orders from this site" so no one can order anything but I still have it in my portfolio lol.

IDK. I have been a member for over a year here and love this community. So am pulled between wanting to help people of this community and business ethics.

Then again, I don'[t think anyone is going to the new site, they are going to that vendio one.

Sides I am working on someone's site now that everyone on here knows and trusts, AND I think it's one of the best I've done yet lol. So I can replace a mediocre one with an awesome one right? lol. Anyways, sorry we're getting off topic. Mod - Sorry will stay on topic. I am sorry for all of you having issues with Brandon(Dino)
