Turbo- the R 4's do the same thing. At least the couple hundred + that I've taken apart. I just push it down gently till it stops. I've come to believe that's where it was intended to be. Don't know...

Hmm...I'll take your word for it, you've certainly made a few ;) Guess I didn't care to notice it and just vaped...lol

One thing's for sure, the r3's I've modded are more like to 'leak' out the batt end due to liquid in the air flow chamber.

Ya, I'm still using the R3's. I can't seem to kill these things! Te small ones are a little more difficult to take apart. The air tube isn't secure in the batty connector and they come out real easy. I like the small ones better sometimes. Maybe just the small size, they all vape the same now, no wicking issues at all anymore. I'm getting bored with them! LOL need something new. Guess we'll get that with the Giantomizer!

I've run into another issue that's always been a problem with me and any cartos: it spits at me. I'm not sure if it's condensation or if I'm pulling to hard, but after about every 3rd drag I get some juice out of the mouth piece. This has always been my biggest gripe with these, and it's happening with this mod.

Anyone else experience this?

I tossed out 2 almost new v4s last week because I couldn't get them to stop flooding. They were so bad I thought I was hitting a water .....

The most common cause for flooding with mine is a loose ceramic stem on the metal air intake tube. The black heat shrink is supposed to prevent it, but often times it doesn't. I've only seen a very few from the factory that had a tight seal on the tube. Most of the time this doesn't hurt anything, but capillary action can sometimes occur and cause a leak, even while standing in a vertical position.

I take all mine apart for inspection before use, and this is one of the first things I check. Almost always I have to apply heat to shrink it further.

Even if it is shrunk enough from the factory, just pulling out the filler ring can possibly break the seal. When this happens, the whole assembly may pull up on the air tube. If it is not pushed back down it will probably be more prone to leaking.

The early R3's did not have this problem. The ceramic cup was so tight on them that it could not move. Evidently, assembly was too difficult and they went to the loose ones with heat shrink.

Anyone know what syringe I might use to replace the tube on a clearomizer? I have a couple of them that have cracks on both ends and the juice is on a slow leak--but they are awesome vapers. The tubes that they come with aren't very durable and I fugure a syringe might be the best way to go on replacing them.

The Turemo brand fits nice and snug. The smaller syringes like BD are too small. I tried it today with the Turemo
and they work great!

Thanks!

3ml, right? I'm asking because the original mod for this has the syringe slipping over the cut metal tube and this is just naked.
