I'm curious as to how you guys clean your ce2's. I wash the wicks in hot tap water, then burn the wicks dry with a lighter. I do a dry burn lasy, maybe 3-5, 5 second burns. Just curios about your method, as I had an atty die tonight, and when I took it apart, the coil was a solid clump of black coal. I've been vaping 60% vg blend lately, and wonder if that was the culprit. I clean my attys, every tank full, which is approx 6 ml.

I also rinse with water but dry burn on the battery. I try to do this when I detect a change in flavor or see my juice turn darker. That will usually avoid the black clump and the dry burn will be easier.

I do the same as Turbo and Storm...Wouldnt use a lighter...Flames are blasphemy 'round here! lol...

Like I mentioned, imo the coils dont seem to agree with vg very much.

Regardless of how you clean one tho, you will have one crap out every now and then...they are
production made, and your bound to get a weak one here and there.

This one is made from a 6ml Monoject. The clear mouthpiece also seals the cup and makes for quick and easy refills from a bottle. It is used with a Hello 16 battery, which has about the same diameter as the syringe.

WOW! I am amazed at how easy it is to build these things!! I had a spare CE2 sitting around, and an extra 3ml syringe, so I decided to go for it, and what do you know?? It WORKS! I used a pipe cutter on the CE2, cut it about 1/2" from the threaded end, squeezed that into the cut syringe tubing, put the rubber parts in place, used the rubber plunger piece as a spacer (cut hole in middle first) and slid in my drip tip...and there you have it. It's on the smaller size, compared to the XL, looks good on my Ego...No leaks so far, and if I break a clear CE2, I can save it for back up. NICE!
Pic #1 shows my mod next to the clear CE2, pic #2 is my just my mod.
I just ordered a few more syringes and another pack of stainless CE2s so I can build more of these for different flavors.

br,
Hope I'm looking at this rite.
Looks like you slid the syringe over the top of the battery.
If yes, how do you get air into center of the e2?
Maybe I'm missing something. And what kind of mouthpiece is that to fit into the syringe? I need to find a mouthpiece to fit into the 3ml syringe, all my 510's are very loose.

Yes those tubes suck!
I have one split everyday on me at the base, then leak of course, also seems like I'm drawing air in from the crack.
I tried a 3ml (monojet) syringe, won't fit, way to loose. What can I use that will fit?

The 3ml Kendall monoject syringes will work w/ the steel ones nicely, that's what I use. For the clearomizers you need to use a 3ml BD syringe. They're sold at most CVS stores. They fit the small base of the clear ones.

I went back out and captured this info - updated blocks so hopefully that will stop it.

Probably more of a hijack than reroute, but it's hard to tell where it's comming from. The browser is rerouted to ( hyperlink removed) http://67cdd29c.debbiguarder7. com/defender/?985=pcfpjm&421ed2a6611=glksmfmsql&253=gpqskskfps&25898eb4a=2 and says AVG detected threats and initiates scan. The popup blocker stops the first attempt, but it bypasses and gets around it. Since I don't run AVG it must be coming from 'out there'. I'm guessing if it completes running it resets a flag and won't run again.

I stop it by disconnecting router and then I can close the window... just to let you know what we were talking about.

Just retried and blocking the link stopped it.

Sorry for the confusion, Mike. Here it is with the battery installed.

Hello2.jpg

I turned an adapter on a lathe and pressed the C-E2 base fitting into it to. The syringe fits on that part of it. The part showing below the syringe is just a skirt to fill in the gap. As you can see, a small gap remains for an air intake. Everything you see of this adapter has a thin wall, so it is not as heavy as it looks.

The mouthpiece was also turned on a lathe. It is made from a cast acrylic rod. It fits over the ceramic cup, so a separate filler ring is not required to seal the reservoir.

Edit - I failed to mention. It has a blue LED inside the reservoir.

Nice work br5495~ I was wondering about the light in the chamber... too cool, now if we could get something that changes color, I would be a happy camper! How did you find room in there for the LED?

Thanks burnsmary. One color is enough for me at the present time, heheh. The 6ml syringe has a fairly large diameter, which barely allowed room for the LED.
