I started out with a kit from OSDIYS. Great company, and Kim is awesome. Very helpful. I still get my flavors there, although I have been able to buy my PG and VG over the counter locally. The website also has a couple links to calculators for you to download. I use the ejuicemeup one. Before you start, familiarize yourself with it.

Somewhere out there
You will love DIY! I started almost right away and have not looked back. Something I do for a test is only mix 2-4 ml to try a flavor and the concentrated flavors only need a few drops. My test batch is usually 60-80 drops base and 5 drops flavor, this gives me enough to try and I can add more flavor if it is too weak. Write things down, I mark the bottle for what it is and how many ml base and how many drops flavor. That way you know where you started. Have fun!! bnrk

Yes that's a good kit. The only thing I would add is if you want to make high PG juices that work easily in all kinds of cartos and -T tanks (blends like 80PG/20VG etc), you need to make sure you have get PG for the nicotine and also have more PG, either by buying more PG separately there or choosing PG for both kit liquids (the nic and base) and buying your VG separately.

And the Perfumer's Apprentice site is where you can see all of their flavors and their descriptions note any that are only for food or cosmetic (not safe to vape)
Perfumers Apprentice - Professional DIY Flavors

For more tobaccos see Flavourart (Liberty-Flights.com sells small bottles) and you can find them elsewhere too. The DIY Guide in ECF's DIY section lists many sources of flavorings and for many has links to links noting which should not be vaped or are difficult to use (like oil based)
DIY E-Liquid
And one level up from that is the DIY recipes section
