I mix the 555 at 10% and let sit 1-2 weeks. Thats why I wish ecigexpress would sell those in bigger bottles its expensive. The Hangsen 555 is the best 555 available. I also happen to like almost all the other Hangsen flavors I bought except for the djrum. They are good, a little weak, but taste good if mixed between 7-10%. Only 1 or 2 is acceptable at 5% for me.

Thank you Shilo .. I'll break my 5% max rule and do it the way you do .. thanks!

IIRC, it takes a chemical process to extract the alkaloids from tobacco so I doubt we'd be able to DIY it.

Yeah didn't think so, was just "hoping" LOL. When I started vaping I didnt want anything close to a cig taste .. but that was 2 1/2 yrs ago and now I think I'd like a cig taste every now and then.

Some methods I know about,

Ultrasound
Microwave
Steam dist.
chemical extraction

You can use PGA or VG to make your own tobacco extracts which will have WTA's in them. Some tobaccos either have higher alkaloid counts or some techniques extract more alkaloids, not sure which though. More alkaloids = more nic

I thought about buying some different whole tobacco leaves from a grower (leafonly.com) to mess around with but havent gotton around to it yet.

WTA is much better to me than the extract or absolute I tried the absolute and it was just too grassy the extract is much better but the 2 bottles of wta I vaped seemed to take alot more of the edge off more like an analog

Can you mention how/where you got WTA? How much do you use?
I ordered some from vapelicious several weeks ago but haven't received yet....I'm anxious to try it:)

Extracting nicotine from a Cigar

Instructions
1

Remove all bands and cellophane from the cigar, and shred the cigar using the scissors into small pieces. Put the pieces of the cigar into the glass container.

2

Add boiling water to the glass container; just enough to ensure that the cigar shreds are submerged in the boiling water. Affix the cap, and allow the cigar-water to steep for about 24 hours.

3

Filter the cigar-water through the coffee filter. Pour the resultant water (it should be nearly black) into a shallow pan, and place on the stove top.

4

Simmer the filtered cigar-water down to a supersaturated fluid (it will become thicker). You will want to maintain good ventilation---keep a fan and windows open to help circulate air. Allow the supersaturated solution to cool slowly, stirring with the glass stirring rod.

5

Pour the thick supersaturated solution again into a coffee filter, and allow it to rest undisturbed for another 24 hours. The resultant material left behind in the filter is pure nicotine.
